As a Japanese high school girl, I use waterproof mascara (heroine make has good ones!) and a keeping mist from KOSE. When I use these keeping mists, my eyeliner doesn’t even budge <3

No cuz if you actually get up close to people at the end of the day the girls with bases has it melted off, so its not a you/we problem, they just accept the fact its gonna happen. Same for people looking so well put together, you can pretty much assume they've just gone outside and haven't spent that much time out/cooled down inside shops etc. There's no secret to it, just catching people at a good time. Go on any train when people are heading home from hangouts and they look just like you and me at the end of the day.

my exact thoughts omg the second i step outside in JP my sunscreen melts off and my face and hair get soaked like i just showered, yet everyone i see has perfect makeup and hair and they look flawless idk how they dont sweat

try cooling setting & fixing sprays, tirtir has one. also make sure you use a sweat proof sunscreen under your makeup and a good primer. if your base begins to slip your makeup will separate.

answer: asians on avarage sweat less, also use a lot of matting powder it helps

This. If you want to wear mascara, I'd def recommend finding some waterproof stuff (they tend to be tenacious so you'll probably need cleansing balm to get it off). There should also be waterpoof eyeliner. But yeah if it works for the locals but not for you it's probably because they sweat less.

I don't think they sweat less, I'm pretty sure that was an odor thing. many Asians don't smell, but they definitely sweat. my mom sweats pretty instantly, it's honestly impressive LOL. but she's not stinky. though the sweating does give her a...damp smell. it's just not stinky pencil shaving smell

Hmm...Since you asked genuinely, I had to do some research. It was fun as well as a learning experience. Having a propensity for science I found that genetically having Japanese skin has several benefits, and adherence to makeup on the skin is one of them(With a higher water content and smoother texture, less likelihood of makeup breaking down due to oil etc.,) Japanese Skin (Asian): -Has a high water content and lower dead skin cells. -Produce less skin oil and lower pH(something related to bacterial growth less in Japanese). - more melanin so lower photoaging. White Skin (North American): -is more prone to dryness and dead skin cells. -More oily and higher pH as compared to Asian. -less melanin more susceptible to UV damage and photoaging. (the list goes on and on...) In conclusion, I believe that it doesn't have to do with what products they are using but what quality skin they have got. Now, you can blame your lineage for not providing that quality skin to you or God knows. Anyway, it is what it is. 🎋 link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-0-387-84929-4_1

Hm…Stop being scared of making mistakes and being judged. It’s ridiculous to think about those things, Get rid of that mentality. Think opposite of this that people would appreciate if you speak their language. Speak little and don’t try to represent in simple way. try to pick social clue. But eventually, People don’t care to be honest. Lol , just my opinions because gone through this process in a different way, not judging anyone. 🎋

Hmm... I believe that when a person creates a void space for himself/herself, he/she tries to fill that space with something else but with something which satisfies the mind equally as before. Apparently, you are trying to fill that void space by being more productive. you are looking for a replacement, to kill time productively find a job, or if you have a constant source of money to survive I would suggest trying to read some novels which are hard to read. if nothing else, at least it will improve your imagination. But because you are already studying at school, chances are here that you will get bored. Have 2, or 3 productive habits. Japan is rich in culture, and you are white so it would be easy for you to make local friends and chances are that you will learn about their culture. hang out with Japanese. (lol)🎋

bring some indoor plants take care of them, and see them growing. The planet and people are fading, and people need to stay more in nature than on devices and social media. we live the life of luxury so much that we forget the needs of the soul air, mud, and water breaths more than we do!!
