This helped me connect my Bosch 800 series to the SmartThings app. I had to use your first instruction because the Bosch dishwasher wasn't available to select in the SmartThings app itself, nor did scanning ANY QR codes on the dishwasher or in the instruction manuals helped connect to SmartThings. I will reiterate that it worked because I had it connected in the Home Connect app first, in case anyone else runs into this issue.

Unless someone from Bosch can explain why I can't set a favorite wash to start at 6.00am (delayed start) using the favorite button on the appliance instead of always using the app, I'm returning this machine.

Dont buy bosch things because bosch not providing a proper service actually they dont have their own service team and tey are tye up with some other 3rd party team and he came with bosch id & uniform only. I brought bosch 9kg front load washing machine 2months ago in Amazon and the issue is machine vibration and improper washing time. And this is first and last i will buy the Bosch home appliances things and i am suggesting to every middle class family dont buy bosch home appliances.because if any problem in appliances you cant able get resulation as much quickly.actually i got one incident that too the service team will do rowdyism(gundas) like that.worst ever thing in my life &They dont have details to contact the higher authority team.if you forced to service issues means they do gundaism.and i was contacted the service coustomer care and he was without information and my permission he connected the area service manger in confrence call and that guy was speaking very loudly so totally its very much bad experience.it shows Total BOSCH mindset Before Experience of BOSCH in mind 10/10 After experiencing the BOSCH My mind set is 10/0 #Boycottboschhomeappliances

Please anyone can help me with an answer: When i run the prewash cycle in My bosch idos washing machine , the machine starts to pull the detergent from the both compartments ( the prewash and the main wash) at the same time from the beginning, so when the prewash cycle is finished no more detergent for the main wash cycle!!! Is it normal?

Got it working on my new Bosch 4 series. I restarted my iPhone, made sure bluetooth and wifi was turned on. I reset the Bosch by holding the power button for 4 seconds, turned it off, then turned on, waited for 10 seconds, pressed remote start button for 5 secs to bring the wifi icon on 'con' connecting mode, and then pressed the search appliance button on the app, found my wifi connection, and entered my wifi password to connect to the network.

Except you have to activate "temot start" every time you want to operate the oven remotely! What is the point if I have to enable it physically every single time?? Ridiculous!

To help those confused by the video- push the drum downward and listen for noises. No noise means the shocks are okay. Rubbing cotton on the drum is simulating clothing passing over the drum in a cycle. If the drum has any sharp edges the cotton will catch and if this was your clothing it would damage them. If there is no cotton left behind then the drum has no damage/jagged edges.
