I am blessed to own a '77 Deluxe Reverb what sits in a MojoTone cabinet. ALL the tone and coupling caps have been changed to blackface era, as has the OT. Put a Celestion Black Shadow in it. Changed the rectifier tube as well. Thing is a beast. NORMAL channel def sounds best.

I have an original Fender Deluxe Reverb that was made in 1964 that has a dirty cloth face but still works good, so I was thinking maybe I could use it as a trade in toward a new one.

Genuine players buy them nice and shiny and wear them down naturally. 20 years from now, everyone will be restoring the relic guitars to look newer than when they were first built. Why? Because they will look even worse by then. Not that they dont look bad enough.😂
