I have tubes I've been running daily for 15 years or more. Power tubes don't always last, but small signal tubes like in the video should last for years, IF they are quality tubes and the circuit is well designed.

I have a P2 with an AT-VM540MLand use a Fono Mk5. I'm considering upgrading to the Aria, but not sure about it. My Denon AVR is outputted to a Tonewinner amp and I use Klipsch RP-600M2s for my front speakers. Trading in the Fono for credit, the Aria would still almost equal the price of my turntable/cart combo. I do like that I'd have the ability to to use either an MM or MC cart and hook each one up at the same time.

Also, I'd like someone to explain why this amp doesn't have a MM setting? How does it work?

I have no doubts that the Rega turntable amplifier is compatible with Rega turntables and cartridges, but what if it connects to a Technics turntable with an Ortofon head? And at the same time there is no possibility to adjust the mm cartridge?

Kindly explain how directional speaker cable is such a thing that the copper wires in your average house aren't burning down many more domestic residences because of the completely untrue interpretation of Ohm's Law. Or, state in simple terms, how the impedance of this wire is lower than any other 14AWG copper speaker wire. Oh, you can't? Must be because marketing is lies. Odd that...

Hi great review and p2 great deck, I had rp2 years ago, but have p3 but the elyis2 but as it come to end I do get hum, and on the forums this is the case , I have a spare om5 and put that on and hum was much reduced and such a level can’t hear it , am hoping the rd 3 don’t have this issue. Why do they focus on integrated amplifiers?

I bought a P2 in January and had my stylus upgraded to an AT-VM540ML. When it came time to upgrade the cart, I'd probably consider the nd5 or nd7. Which is the closest to the performance of the AT? would I do better to go for an Ortofon black standard or LVB? I also use the fono MM mk5 Preamp.

I’ve had my P2 for 4 years and now it has a humming sound. I’m going to be taking it to the retailer I got it from and hope they can help with this issue.

I purchased a new Rega 2,it was very musical.later i purchased a vintage Pioneet PL-12D for a second system i was setting up.I was that impressed with the 12D that i now use it in my main system.Don't play off vintage record players.

Is it possible that after burning in this "density" will settle down? Does this preamp simply have this property of a dense sound? I also currently have a second preamp ZEN PHONO 3 and it does not have this "density", it plays in detail, warmly and you can listen to it quietly at night..

I bought in 2019, Advance-Acoustic x-preamp and A-160 power amp and listen over Advance acoustic K11-S speakers...I surprised with the price/performance ...After 5 years I found a good deal and upgrade my system again with Advance Acoustic X-X-i1100 and XL-500 speakers...I highly recommend the brand..They are really sound fantastic.

Boys, it's refreshing to see reviews taking the movies for what they are/meant to be. Most critics think ever movie has to be 10/10 in every aspect to be praised, but then these same movies a lot of the time are boring with no imagination. It's refreshing to see peoples opinions based not only on the "quality" of movies, but also the enjoyment factor. Some of my favourite movies are objectively bad, but I'm sitting there with a stupid smile on my face the whole time. Also everyone feels the need to change everything these days, but as this video implies, why can't they just give us a continuation or prequel to the thing we love. Prequels/sequels I'd like to see (and can think of): - Snatch Prequels/sequels - It doesn't need one, but for no reason other than the world would be a better place to have 2 more hours of this master piece of comedy. - Home Alone sequel - but I want a dark MA version. You've probably seen this before online, but just imagine Kevin's life has taken a dark turn after the traumatic events from the other movies (Think Saw but less gory). - Cabin In the Woods - maybe a series of feature length/short films showing different countries dealing with different monsters. - Evil Dead 2013 sequel - no horror remake surprised me with how much I enjoyed this.

I have this A6 ME using just as a streamer connected to my R2R DAC , I use a LAN connection to my router for best results as WiFi can result in lost data packages ( Audio Science Review ) . It’s a pretty good quality streamer. Note some ppl have upgraded the Linear Power Supply inside with a LHY unit and instructions from Vinshine Audio. It voids the warranty so I’m not too keen atm. Maybe in 2 yrs time. Very happy with the purchase , sounds way better than my IPhone ( which was my previous streamer for Apple Music ). Btw if you use Cast , you can stream Apple Music lossless rather than using Airplay2. My only regret is maybe should have waited for the A8 ( which won the IESA streamer award in Europe ). That’s quite a feat coming from a young Chinese company.

I had my MCA 525 Gen2 for 2 years now, mixed with an Marantz AV7704, and I liked the sound of it immediately. My speakers are from Swedish Respons Audio, and that is a good mix, as they use Scanpeak tweeter and woofer. As you mentioned it is crisp , so this Anthem together with Klipsch, might be too much of it all. For music in 2 channels, I am very satisfied with it.

Great review man. I'm personally undecided between these Anthem MCA Gen 2 amps and the Rotel RB amps. The Rotel seems to have more power and better value, because if you look closely Anthem rates their power at 1% THD while Rotel is under <0.03%. But I would love to see you compare the MCA-525 Gen 2 with the RMB-1585MKII
