short video going over the v50 patch in lethal company. The apparatus exploit in lethal company has been patched. Sharing now as this could be a major run killer if those who know of this exploit or learned about it in my last video aren't aware it has been changed.

Haven't tried it in a long time but I think it still works, but you can actually access the fire exit on experimentation from the level below it

do the spam jumps still work? i cant get any of those kind of jumps to work

For the ship on the front, you could jump on the camera from the entrance. Also walking through the terminal.

for the assurance jump if u just do a small delay literaly just bump into the front bit of the ships ladder then u go to the corner of the railing and jump u will make it on the very edge of the rock with no fall damage

you can also use the cabinet jump to clip through the top to see outside you can see the giants and whatnot but they cant see you
for the ship you can glitch through the roof of the ship with the cupboard
at 12pm on assurance you can jump from the fire exit ladder rock onto the ship, saves having to get past all the outside enemies, its fairly risk free too

Aw that's sad, it's not like that particular type of the apparatus room spawned everytime. I think it was a neat edge to those who knew more about the game. :/

7:52 anyone incapable of doing this? it makes me fall in a staggered pattern and refuses to let me jump and i cant figure out what im doing wrong
in this video i do have a mod that gave me faster sprint without realizing it. this jump is possible without it but is much more difficult. The angle is really precise.
Yeah, I just tried it in vanilla v50. It's either too precise or impossible. Definitely not practical for any runs sadly :\
Yes, it is possible, I pulled it off in vanilla v50. It is very difficult. You have to jump towards the location he was looking at, then air straif imediadetly and align yourself parallel to the horizontal metal beam, sprint and spam jump. You have to hit the sweet spot at the apex of the jump. Once you get the second jump, you have to immediately turn 45 degrees left in order to not fall off. It took about 10-15 minutes of practice for me to be able to consistently get it first try. If you fail the jump even once it is probably slower than just taking the ladder. I'm not sure if the jump can be made with any weight either.
he could have just fixed the bug instead of making it kill you
i agree that fixing the ability to fall out of the map from that spot would be good but there are also some exploits using the ladder to get out of the map. So making it kill you encompasses all of the exploits and any future ones.

for experimentation you can also jump off the fire exit stairs onto the pillar you mention you can bump into then just walk off of that and take no damage too.

Just so everyone knows, the apparatus out of bounds thing has supposedly been patched as of V50, you'll just die if you do it now I'm pretty sure.
By using the cupboard trick you can clip through the roof and be at the top of the ship as soon as the map loads before even the doors open. Useful if you have a jetpack, since it allows you to get an even faster headstart than if you just started flying by going through the door. It's also an even faster and safer way to get on the pipe on offense. Edit: Nevermind, some people already mentioned it lol
On offense if you use the ladder to get onto the ship as soon as the doors open while landing you can jump from the top of the ship onto the pipe with much better consistency
March-highest exit you can jum in the middle ish part asap and not take fall damage(might take 10)

3:42 you can jump on the rail below the fire exit in experimentation & look up to enter faster
The route in experimentation you said was "just for fun" is actually good for getting over to the pipe if you're too heavy and can't do the regular jump over to it.
the hard limit is 70 pounds
20:35 This trick also work on railing in Factory, I only tested it on Coil Heads tho so just test it to see it yourself.
10:00 sadly this only applys to stop sign and yield sign, u can not scan for shovel as its an bought item and not loot
BUT if u have loot on you then u can scan and pick up everything till u find your shovel
