Great bag perfect for all you need!! Where can i get the pattern? Ty❤
That turned out so adorable. Love the pink
Yeah, I feel like I wasted money.
Excellent. Thank you so much.
Very clear, wonderful video, thanks for taking the time to make
Já consegui pegar o molde agradeço brigadinho
❤❤
What does block mean ?
Hi, Thank You for your video but where can we print out the PDF pattern pieces for the straps please ? and can you please advise for imperial measurements
Felt like I was sewing it 😅. Your's turned out nicely 🎉.
Nao comsigo entra pra pegar o molde
Thank you for such a great video; answered eactly what I was looking for!
That's great to hear 😊
Good video, but I feel like I am watching Part 2 and missing a Part 1 of the "How to add a lining zipper pocket to *any* project". You simply say "Take the piece with the zipper placement marking". However, you didn't show us how to calculate the dimensions of that box needed for the zipper opening according to whatever zipper length/size we have. Do I want the box to be the same size of the zipper or larger.. but by how much larger? I came here wanting to add a zipper pocket to a bag that does not have any pockets. And I haven't a clue as to how large do I want that zipper placement marking (the box) to be for the zipper I have. I was going to fold over the pocket instead of using 2 pieces though.
The box needs to be the same width as the pocket opening - the visible part of the zipper, which will be different for different projects. The pocket bag needs to be wider than the opening by about 2-3cm, so you can stitch it on both sides. You can mark it about 1-2 cm down from the top edge of your pocket bag.
@@allsewpetite thank you so much for the clear and speedy message. I followed another video that said the box (not the bag) needed to be 1inch wider on each side of my zipper teeth and it was way too large. Thankfully I had another zipper to use. I've never made one before so I didn't know how to figure out the dimensions. :)
I would like to know how to download your drawstring backpack. It is adorable!!! ❤
Thank you! You can find the link to my website in the description 😉
This is perfect and easy to follow. Just what I needed. Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
I reduced the pattern 90%, but kept some things 100%. Question is, do I keep the zipper tabs 100% or do I include those particular pattern pieces reduced to 90%? Gussets and front back are reduced 90%. Thanx
It's really up to you. You can make them narrower if you want to keep the balance.
@allsewpetite So cute! Do you happen to have a video for sewing a round tablecloth with a border made out of different fabric? Example 24 inch tabletop with 6-inch drop all of the same fabric, then adding 3-inch border of different fabric. Your coasters are perfect!
No I don't, but i can add that to my list for a future video 😉
@@allsewpetite That would be great! I hope I get the notice when you do. Happy sewing!
This is it, this is the tutorial that clicked for me!! Thank you!!
Oh really?! That's awesome 😊
this is great, thank you!!!
That's lovely to hear 😊
Do you use a #3 or #5 zipper
I use #5 zippers 😉
Thank you so much. I was hoping that was the case as I have some beautiful fabric and I ordered #5 zippers to match before I came across the Molly zipper pouch. I’m going to try it out as soon as my Kimberbell tape arrives next week. I’d like to make it today but I don’t have the tape ☹️
This has helped me so much. Thank you for this tutorial.
My pleasure! What are you making?
I'm binding the neckline of a chemise right now, and you have NO IDEA how helpful this was. I was about to toss the whole project and start over with a different neckline shape!
That's awesome! So happy I could help! I'm sure it will turn out beautiful 😊
love it
Thank you 😊
So true! I have made such a habit of this that I printed out labels on sticker paper so I always have the same info in the same order (things like pattern piece, date of drafting, number to cut, etc.)
Such a great idea! Are you using a regular printer to do that?
Bravo!!! Now explain the same process with a round cup coaster, please!!
You can use it on any project. When sewing round coasters just make sure not to stretch the binding so it lays nice and flat.
I did a lot of them and rarely get it so perfect like you did here in the Video! Believe me: As a Beginner, this is a challenge.
Thank you! You get better with practice ☺️
Very nice tutorial, thank you
Thank you ❤️
Can i see finished product?
I don't have it anymore, but I'm making another bag soon, so will post it when it's finished ☺️
This is not a free pattern ive just purchased it and you have to pay in English pounds what a con so basically its cost me almost 10 Australian dollars disgusting
Just to clarify, the pattern is actually free to download. However, if you'd like to support my work and show your appreciation, you can choose to donate - which is exactly what you have done, so thank you.
Save this for later so you can follow along with the tutorial when you’re ready to sew 😉
Hi lovelyPattern! Is this pattern big enough for a man’s large hand? I want to make it for a Father’s Day gift :) Thanks for your help!
It's on a smaller side, so I would enlarge it. Try printing it at a larger scale.
Very clear and precise video. This is the best I have seen. Thank you so much! ❤
Glad it was helpful! 😊
great video

Fantastic video! All my questions were answered and it was well put together.
That makes me so happy 😁 thank you!
oh and beautiful and classy😍
Thank you! 😊
the exact thing I was looking for. clear concise and easy! love it!!
Glad it helped! 😃
Thanks for the tutorial. May I ask, how thick is your vinyl? 😊
This faux leather is drapy so it was on a thinner side.
@@allsewpetite thank you for replying 👌🏼
Thanks for sharing. 😊
Anytime 😊
Thank you so much
❤️
Has anyone used Soft and Stable, OR Thermalon 971F for the front and back pattern pieces for bag extra support?
I enjoyed your tutorial. Do I need to change any settings on the machine after I add the walking foot?
Not really. I only change the length of my stitch for quilting. You may want to test your tensions on a small piece of fabric first.
The video was great; until the end. Sure would have loved to see the finished result...
Sorry 😔
I am getting ready to cut out the pattern, reducing the bag body and gussets 90%. On one pattern piece reduced to 90% is Gusset (E). It says on the 100% version to extend to 21& 5/8". Reducing to 90% is about 19&1/2". Is that correct? I wanted to confirm before cutting it out. Thankyou.
Yes, that's about right 😊
Thank you! Such a great tutorial ❤
Thanks ☺️ I'm so happy you found it helpful.
Very cute coasters! Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure 😊 Are you planning to make some?
I dont understand whats happening here 😭 is there a longer video.?
Sorry 😞
It's the hand basting they do before machine sewing. It pulls the dart together. After machine sewing, they pull the basting thread out.
Great tutorial - excellent explanations and clear view of the steps! I love your tips and this facing method to prevent the lining peeking through.
Thank you!
I initially tried the method shown but that didn't work for me. I then tried the method suggested by craftgenie4803, pushing the scissors though from the point to the end of the blades. I did this about ten times and the result was amazing! My previously ruined fiskars fabric scissors (which I had tried to sharpen with a knife sharpener and made completely blunt) now cut effortlessly!
