The Symbiosis Medical College for Women is the brainchild of Prof. Dr. S.B.Mujumdar, the Founder and Chancellor of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University). After seeing the biographic movie about India’s first lady doctor, Ms. Anandibai Joshi, the idea of creating a medical college exclusively for women was born. With an objective of women empowerment and contributing to nation building by increasing the number of female doctors, Symbiosis has established this exclusive Medical college for Women under the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Currently I have a domicile of WB since I am native of Kolkata.

It is permitted. Every year, We obtain the letter of permission. Final recognition will be obtained once our First Batch passes out the Final Year of MBBS curiculum.

As per existing policy 23 seats are reserved for NRIs. My question is, if all 23 seats are not filled with NRIs, in that case what will be the fee structure for remaining seats of NRI quota.
