What species of tree did those branches come from? Those sheep seem to be enjoying them.
Oak and beech. They really love yellow poplar, too.

When this was burning, how hot was it ?
Did you run a 36" before doing all the work on her? I love my 461, but I would rather not do too many mods. So far, all I've done is open up the muffler and took some of the baffle out to get more air flow. I've had my 461 for 8 years now, and she's still a hungry beast. I did have to take a break in cutting due to a couple of back surgeries, so there's a few years of rest. But I was bucking 40 or more cord of firewood a season. Now I've been milling with her and I want to run a 36" but if that's too much without serious mods I'll continue running my 28...I really love cutting with this saw and stock seems to have plenty of top end power and a lot of low end torque.
If you want to mill or run a 36" bar you would be wise to upgrade to the high output oiler. Power wise, I did not run the 36" bar until after porting, so I cannot comment on stock w/ that bar.
@Michael Bayerl Ya I figured as much. I don't really want to go throb a whole hotrod build on my saw. Right now the 28" is more than sufficient.
Are you a doctor?
Yep.
very good friend, you are an expert at cutting success to you
Needs a tad off the rakers, sounds like. A little too easy for that saw.
Yep! Rakers @ .035 here and need to got down a little more. Still working on getting rakers tuned to the saw. Thanks for the feedback.
How does one get ahold of tree monkey?
I communicate with him through Outdoor Power Equipment Forum opeforum.com He also has a RUclips channel, but I'm not sure if he monitors that consistently.
Snorri! I love that name!
Man, Scott sure can make those things scream.
Got it on the ground safely👍👍
Eating up that beech, cutting little rascal , it's a stihl it may fall to pieces, I am not a stihl fan, echo over stihl,
Echo makes some awesome top handle saws for sure.

Nice works, 👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻
Is that a b bar a one time thing or can it handle it all season Long???
I'm not a professional logger so I don't cut every day. That said, plenty of pros run 461's with 32-36" bars and full skip chains. I added the high-output oiler and would definitely recommend that for anyone running longer bars.
Michael, I finally got my movie about Eastern Bluebirds Nesting posted on RUclips. (ruclips.net/video/BgPWt6fevrw/видео.html) Thanks again for letting me use a few seconds of your footage.
Love the 461 probably one of my favorite stihl saws.
What a sweet scene. The lamb is obviously enthusiastic about the meal. Just look at that tail wagging! I'm making a RUclips video about bluebirds raising a family, and I plan to open the narration by talking about the difference between mammals and birds: birds tend to be more monogamous than mammals because the male birds can help raise the nestlings as much as the females; but mammal young need a mother to nurse them. Would you be interested in giving me permission to use maybe 10-20 seconds of your footage? It would illustrate my point perfectly. I would credit you, of course--both in the movie itself and in the description underneath. Here's a link to my channel in case you'd like to check out the qualty of my work: ruclips.net/user/JoAlwoodBIRDSANDTHENSOME?app=desktop
Sure. Please feel free to use a clip. It is very kind of you to ask.
@@michaelbayerl1683 Great, and thank you, MIchael. I'll let you know when the movie posts--should be within the week.
Just got back from doing some cutting with my new 261CM a little bit ago. Coming from the MS170 and Husky 240 Xtorq…..my GOD! The weight of the 261CM and it’s 4 hp along with it being a pro saw with pro saw benefits….there’s no other word but SPECTACULAR. These particular saws get a lot of attention and it’s no wonder why. The 18” bar is perfect, mine is just the standard RollE but it goes through 14-16” ash like nothing I have ever seen in person. Just ridiculous. I would recommend it to anyone who asked, even having only used the two smaller saws mentioned. It is THAT good.
😂🥰🐑
We all need that some days. 🐷😂
Aw didn’t know you were getting piglets! What breed? Have you seen the Mangalitsa?? Heirloom Hungarian breed There’s a farm nearby.
They are KuneKune, originally from New Zealand. Smallish, and very friendly. Yes, I know about Manalitsa. They are very trendy now, too. I think Mangalitsa are more valued for their meat; whereas, we just wanted pets that will also help us rejuvenate the soil in our woods. We will not be eating them.
@@michaelbayerl1683 yes. The Mangalitsa are prized for their meat and the ones here are bred mostly for the meat to be sold to high end restaurants. But Elizabeth farms nearby in Lititz has several hundred. Nice venue for beer and pork and music. Piglets cute. Sows are not.
They were almost extinct in Hungary and a few hundred were saved and exported and now are being bred all over again. Including in Hungary. For $$$.

Augie Doggie!
Sounds like you’re getting some rpms out of this saw. Did you have to go with a different coil or is it all flow that’s doing it? I have a 461 and I may be doing some work to it one of these days. 👍 Great video. Just subscribed!
I believe Ramdy put in an unlimited coil, but can't remember for sure. I think it tunes to around 14,400-14,600 RPM WOT???
That’s brisk. Probably no limiter on that coil.

Yep! My 461 only has a 25 inch bar it's a beast!
I usually run a 24" bar on this saw. 36" is only for special uses. BTW, I converted the oiler to the "high output" version to make sure it can oil the full 36" bar.
Stihl N 1 🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍
I have one myself, love it.
Cute
BTW, the trunk was actually nearly perfectly vertical, but the wide angle lens on my phone makes it look like it's leaning.
Awesome saw!
Thak you
Haha!! Keep it up😊 See ya at my channel!👍👍😊
Nice video
Any added power from the Maxflow?
Meh, I'm not good enough to tell.
i guess it's kind of randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Leandro Aydin i watch on flixzone. You can find it on google :)
@@michaelbayerl1683 Friend, the revolutions 13200 max for the saw 372xp oe 2003 are okay?
So Icelandic sheep like to eat multiflora rose? Will they eat blackberry bushes too? I have time telling the difference and would like to eliminate the former but not the latter...
They eat them both, but ours seem to like the rose more than the blackberries right now.
Gen 1 MS 261 C-M ported by Mastemind Work Saws (MMWS)
I got about 30, 21 and 14 seconds respectively. I was trying to let the chain self-feed as much as possible.
Aww why do they do that..? Very cute :) Thumbs up from Ireland! :)
