Liesl Eppes a storyteller and explorer of life who’s favorite mediums include the stage, screen and written word.
Inspired by the belief that stories are our greatest tool for shaping a better world, Liesl focuses her life on gaining a greater understanding of the multifaceted human experience and honing the narrative craft of sharing that experience with others.
Through the constant balance of sailing on the winds of life Liesl finds joy in the glorious juxtaposition and integration of art with life. A writer in love with improv. A filmmaker in love with theatre. A documentarian who knows no moment can ever be truly relived in its recounting. Someone who believes that we tell stories to communicate the bigger truths that we cannot not articulate any other way.

I’m so glad I found your channel! I made my flight reservations a week ago to Edinburgh and was just starting to have my doubts so the timing was perfect. ( I’m also planning to take the train to Carlisle) I’ve backpacked thousands of miles in the US and watched many hiking videos. I’m usually more into gear, weight, mileage etc. but your view of the hike as a heroic quest is very refreshing! I know SOMETHING gets me out of my house and into the woods! Do you know about the Far Out app? It has gps guides to dozens of trails including Hadrian’s Wall and the AT. Look forward to watching the rest of your videos! “The road goes ever, on and on….”
