Spain by Chick Corea I have no idea why Mr. Leuci announced us as “Nick Schneider and the jazz cats” - I did not agree to that Nick Stefanacci - alto Larry Umaña- congas Daniel Ronderos - bass Joel Lee - drums Nick Schneider - piano Had a great time at my last solo night performance at RP, blessed to be able to preform with professionals! So proud of Joel and Dan for putting in the time and lea...

Why did the drummer not count off the tempo?
And this may be hilary's favorite piece to play 😊
This is the Sarabande from Bach's Partita for Violin No. 2 in D minor
Thanks!
I went the second night, I wanted to see it again but couldn't, and I wanted to say thank you for taking this video of it
It's a dark screen
I know it’s only audio unfortunately
The first two sound like he starts by outling Dmin with bebop language then outlining Bbmin with a hexatonic (1 9 b3 4 5 b7) built from Ab-Bbmin triad pair.
Yeah, I can definitely see that, it would be so interesting to ask him was he was thinking about!
I read your description and man you are progressing fast bro keep going!
Thanks man, I feel really lucky!
Ted Nash a multi jazz instrumentalist also for film score title numbers , Broadway shows veering to classical crossover and small combo solo studio work , blending with all the other musicians and not trying to compete or to outshine them .
Are you SURE that you want Eastman? This sounds more like Berklee material. And beware. My mentor, Ron Keezer (Geoff's dad), was famous for saying 'We get these kids all hot, ready to step out of music school and head into 1958, hoping Kenton has an opening."
Body and soul had some great modern chords
sounding really nice! keep up the good work!
some really hip stuff in there!
Thanks! I’ve been working on this tune for a while trying to find some hip stuff to play
Thanks man, that’s surprising that it popped up in your feed!
i remember when i was new like this, ive been playing for a couple years now and i wish i recorded my early matches
Calm luh ping pong game
Never Meant To Belong from the anime: Bleach. I’ve never seen it but it’s a descent tune!
that a creppy sound play it on your mom
You mean CREEPY?….. 😂😂😂😂😂. Play it on Yours
Yes
Exellent job! Keep at it
Awesome!
soo perfect!!
Unbelievable stuff
Nice job. Hard tune, isn't it? First half is all major chords, second half all minor. There's a hint of a ii-V-I at the turnaround. Oh, and it's 18 measures!
Yeah, it’s difficult but a really great tune. Yeah I realized the lack of 2 5 1s too! I’m transcribing Daniel Szabos solo and will probably post soon!
Im listening classic ablum on Apple Music then suddenly i heard something familiar while listening to “Pavane pour une infante défunte”. I instantly recognize it was “The lamp is low”.
Very cool
This video popped up in my recommended with only 12 views. Nice playing! Deserves a comment haha
Nice!
The Hey Song
Brad Mehldau is truly something else, from a different planet. He just steals the show by creating magic each time.
im buying your neighbors spot PRONTO
Do you have a video of his solo vocoder part of this performance? I didn't get a recording of that part, but it was incredible.
Yes it was! Unfortunately I posted everything I recorded so no. I’m trying to find footage of so many acts but it’s really hard
Hey Nick, this is Jaylen Petinaud on drums. He has been with Herbie since April. Please correct when you can !
Omg really, I was looking so hard online and a news source that reported in the event said it was someone else. Sorry for the confusion!
