August 2024. Arriving by train, I make my way to the Zytglogge or clock tower in Alstadt, the old city. I stroll down to watch the summer crowd float down the Aare River then make my way over to BarenPark to see the iconic bears of Bern. On a warm day in August 2024, I started in Hauptbanhof, the main train station and walked over to Aldstadt, or the old city, enjoying the views of the Limmat River. I entered Grossmunster Church in Niederdorf and made my way down to the waterfront.
