Are the sandy trails difficult to bike through? We have slightly wider tires on Trek hybrid comfort bike. Is it correct that the paved portion is two mile long? I saw it somewhere.

I grew up here, and this is still the nicest neighborhood in NE Columbia. Home prices are still very reasonable - unlike older downtown (Heathwood, Gregg Park, etc.). Wonderful bike tour BTW. 🙂

We have so many beautiful roads like this in Oregon (a little bit hilly tho) but I feel bad for people trying to enjoy them on a bike! Drivers are awful

If walls could talk !! Hope Eastern Market gets some new marketing techniques. Hire somebody with colorful van, drive with food deliveries, ten mile radius. The advertising on the van windows would put it customers mind. Yes, we can call Eastern. Birthday cake, forgot to pre-order? Eastern Market delivers.. There should be courtesy bus service originating on Connecticut Avenue apartments. Many don’t drive, but would love a few hours round trip shop and drop. Good crowd here, but it should be teeming with customers.
