Squirrel Hunt and Cook
Просмотров 1 тыс.14 дней назад
On this episode we had a great time hunting squirrel, made a great stew, and unfortunately found one of our target bucks dead. He was a great tall 9 pointer at one time but broke his main beam late in October which gave him a pass for this year, but mother nature had other plans. As always thanks for watching and subscribing.

This is the first episode of a series we are calling the crates. We are going to bring you along with us as we farrow, care for, and check up on our spot sows from now until mid-January. Look for lots of good viewing as we transition from farrow house to nursery and watch these pigs grow from start to their new homes.

Welcome to our new channel PLUM CREEK GENETICS and the OUTDOORS
My first sled was Polaris 500 EFI. Last one skidoo 600 etec. Many good times. 30 years of riding decided to sell the sled. Ride safe.
@@tdog8507 thanks we always try to. Nice sleds and I bet you have some good friends and stories doing that for 30 yrs! Thanks for the comment and the views. Take care.
Adorbs! 😂
Took Walt up in there in 2018.
No better sledding then up in the UP , We used to stay at trout lake 2 times a year when the snow and temps were right and what a great time , Cant do the cold anymore so i will watch videos like yours brings back alot of good memories . We even road out to mackinac island a few times if the ice was frozen well enough and that is super cool to travel around the island . Our last trip up stopped at a little dive bar for food in mackinac city called the keyhole , Over in the corner sat Bob Seger and got his autograph pretty cool , Great video !
Thank you and Wow awesome memory at the Keyhole that's so cool. Yes we love the UP and I agree best riding from a trail perspective just connected to so many areas you can get to. We try to make it up 2 times a year as well. I have never rode the island but have heard its worth the trip if the ice and tree trail are open. Thank you for the comments and take care.
@@PlumCreekGeneticsandOutdoors Roger that YW !
Nice conditions. Laughed my ass off at “prick”. 😂
lol thanks. He means well.
So serene! Looked like a blast!
Look like a great trip lots of fun. one suggestion you need to get a new sidekick, not very talkative in front of the camera. Let me know I’m always available and I’m definitely not camera shy.😊
That stew looked amazing But if there’s one little bone in the whole pot of stew, why is it the wife is always the one that finds it.😊
lol...yep she will never eat it again.
Don't like the music it's too loud just show the wildlife and sound's
That was a big sacrifice by you to taste that deer meat and make sure it was safe for your family. Such a good dad.Lol
I totally didn't think of it that way you are so right. lol thanks for that insight.
Cuttin' bacon 😂
SWANDERS TOUGH!!!
It’s so refreshing to see how excited the girls are about the baby pigs it looks like a loving family operation.😊
It really is thanks.
Great job, and video. How's the piglet you saved doing?
@@tracyplatfoot7601 thank you and she is doing great. She will be a farm favorite for sometime I believe.
Look at them bacon bits ❤
🫡
❤😊
Great job saving that baby city people need to watch your video so they understand more about how farmers really do care for their animals.
Thanks Wayne. I would have to agree some people may not understand that it’s not all about selling animals it’s a livelihood and a deep caring and respect for animals. We are there caretakers.
Beautiful!
28 yards is really pushing it with a trad bow for deer….I’d stick to 20 yards and under.
@@greeneyesfromohio4103 thank you for the advice as a new trad user I appreciate that. I typically don’t even shoot over 20 anyway but something about that situation with that deer quartered away felt good. But I agree since taking my first shot at a deer with a trad bow
Cool video
Maybe next time good luck
@@wayneadkins thanks Wayne
You’re doing a great job. We really enjoy watching them.
You guys and your shenanigans! Haha
Educational!
