Thank you! :) i believe i just started using reshade around the time i made this. It's a post processing tool that's very easy to install onto any game that lets you mess around with the visuals. I tend to adjust the settings for each location i want to capture but generally I use some bloom, tweak the colours with a LUT table and raise the black level a tiny bit. My most recent elite video is a much better example of what you can get out of reshade once you get the hang of it. But the sheer amount of shaders and customization options might be overwhelming the first time around and there's definitely a learning curve to it. Check out "EDFX" or "GEMFX" for elite if you want something more straightforward but less customizable, see which you prefer. They're what i used for my earlier video's and they still look great. EDFX comes with some handy presets you can use that are more suited for gameplay.

Glad you like them :) Too caught up with irl stuff for video's sadly, but i'll do my best to explain it here instead. I use a hotas (joystick & throttle combo) so i really just lock the stick in an angle while moving and it'll end up making a very smooth image. It does require a steady hand and the occasional re-take. You can probably recreate the same effect with a controller or either very high or low mouse sensitivity. Fly safe o7

The first one is in "Skaude AA-A h294". It's about halfway from the bubble to colonia if i recall correctly The other one i'm afraid i can't remember. I'll do some digging and see if i can find it tho, hope it helps.

Learning cliff more like it haha. i had the same problem at first but kept at it, cuz space. got around 1350+ hours myself haven't been playing much recently though. got a bit burnt out i guess, but i still love it.

Thecookierebel it's proper kicking off now. Thargoid attacks, loads of new content coming over the upcoming year. It's a good time to be playing!!!

That it is, so far most of the content has been combat related however. which isn't of much interest for someone like me. But I'll see if i can get back into it :)

Thecookierebel they are doing new planet surfaces and phenomena. Better exploration, mining etc. So, so much more coming soon (2018) I can see plenty of opportunities for someone with a good eye to make more vids haha

Yeah i heard. I'm so glad they're taking another look at the planets. They used to be so colourful and diverse before 2.3 (or was it 2.2 ? can't remember) Anyway if you want to chat more you can always find me in the brobar on discord. just look up "brocast" and there should be a link in the description for an invitation to the server.
