@Flushinator Look it up. You don't own the airspace above your property. The FAA authorizes who can and cannot use and navigate airspace. You own the LAND, not the air.

@TheDroneDad very odd indeed but I don't think that the average American will think of consumer drones when they think of these UAPs, they will instantly think of aliens and an invasion from outer space. So if this is a smoke screen to get Americans on board with banning DJI I think Congress is barking in the wrong direction and creating an unnecessary mass panic in the process.

That's not good! Maybe you got a dud, and need to get a replacement? Is your phone really low while charging or is it mostly full? If you have the battery saving mode on, could it be shutting off because your phone is fully charged?

It will not delete files that have already been closed and ended that are on the memory card. It only overwrite the current recording IF you are using the Loop Recording function. If your memory card doesn't have enough storage to complete a full video of the pre-set loop length you have chosen, it will tell you it cannot record until you make space on the card. But it will not start deleting old videos on the card.

@@TheDroneDad Ok, thanks for the quick reply. So, unfortunately, this camera can't be used to its full potential as a DVR. Or, otherwise, you need to constantly monitor the recording process so as not to miss the moment when the memory card is full. Hmm, a bit of a pity. Or maybe you could recommend another option for the settings, with which the camera could be used as a video recorder (by bike) one way or another, without worrying about filling the memory card? If you can get the PIP you want to get with the X3, save the money and just do it with that. But you can choose better angles with 2 independent cameras so really it's whatever your trying to do with it.

Honestly, and it's kinda weird, but do what Ken Heron does and let the cops look through the goggles and see there is NO WAY you're peeping at anyone with an FPV quad. If you can show a flight path showing that you aren't hovering in front of windows, even better.

Deer happened to just run right where my front driver side column blocked it until it got pretty close. Once I saw it I noticed i had enough time to slow without braking too hard.

Is there a reason you want to stay with the Action 4 as opposed to the Action 5 Pro? Or the Ace Pro vs the newer Ace Pro 2? Maybe better savings, which I agree with. Between the 4 and the Ace Pro, I would go Action 4, personally. Overheating happens on it sometimes, but it usually keeps recording and disables the touch screen, unless it gets really hot.

Well i dont mind going to AP 2 or AC5. Mainly will be use as dash cam for car and weekend motorcyle ride. Mostly be capturing morning rush hour or evening rush hour. I need something that will be going running non-stop and good quality without being an issue for long time... i most likely will be going for dji 5 since its less than 200$ than AP2. Im just wondering if it will hold its value for a long time

@Angelo-qv9pq i think the Action 5 (or 4) would be great. I think Insta360 is using a lot of AI processing and that creates more heat so I could see overheating quicker than the Action. Depends how thick traffic is. If you're moving, the wind should be enough to cool it down but if you're stuck in traffic, it could overheat.

I do try to keep the windshield clean, but it actually does surprisingly well looking through it even if it is a little dirty.

I'm really inclined to believe the US Govt on this. I don't trust the CCP one bit. But if they are going to ban DJI equipment which will result in loss of life of Americans because there isn't an American made equivalent product available, then they need to be transparent and show us the evidence.

I wouldn't see why not. Over time, it MAY affect how fast it depletes when using it as a power bank. But I would imagine it wouldn't hurt anything. That's kinda how I'm using mine this month.
