@@billyb7168 off at saviours road dead end street with park at the end. Had a Daihatsu charade in flip colour blue to gold I did it up as a kid and it was my mums. On 5 spoke tsw stealths. Mono roofing I think it was… Where’s the Orion still on the road? What you driving now?

@@thecarguychannel the flip paint charade rings a bell mate. No idea about the orion, i have a scirocco atm. Do you have insta? If so mines 3_Triple_7 if you wanna see the scirocco. I havent uploaded any vids of it to youtube yet. 😣

Egr delete manual also written out of map. Turbo is stock.

Downpipe emptied, centre pipe removed, back box removed so complete straight pipe from turbo to exit

E60s look like shit without M-Paket though, it goes from sporty looking (M paket on) to granny's car without it...

@@maxl7827 That may be true but whenever I see an E60 with front M bumper and rear stock bumpers all I can think of is that's a Frankestein car and the owner was too cheap to do a full conversion (and I guarantee you I'm not the only one). And please dont get me started on the M steering wheel vs normal one

TJ Monster hi pal, well mine is straight pipe all the way through and the turbo woosh/spool up is louder as i have a high flow filter aswell. Have you upgraded the filter or blanked egr etc?

Not the egr no air filter does the egr help with the sound??

TJ Monster to be honest pal im not sure because i did most of the work all together you see. The filter makes a big difference on spool up/turbo sound you can hear it sucking the air in more then the 'woosh'. Take off the big plastic engine cover then take off the air filter cover so you can see the filter, then give it some revs, hold it a few secs around 3-3500 revs and you will hear the 'spool up' sound more. If you look at my other vids theres one where you can see the filter.

Does the air filter make it sound better or is that the egr ? If u what u can have a look on my channel for a bmw 530d sounds, sound rubbish so I’m trying to make it sound better but is not working 😭. U going to the bmw vantey car show ??

Billy B fair enough. I'm going to just take the center pipe out of mine and have a eisenmann back box dont want to take the dpf out with these now laws in the UK its a massive fine lol

S16lth Grant that wpuld be wiser yes. I have since had dpf put back on as i had it all cleaned etc. Still sounds more or less the same. You will get a nice sound from that set up👌

It depedns where it's facelift or not. And if it's got a manual or auto transmission. LCI (facelift) auto could go up to 300hp and 700Nm even with DPF

stage 1 Diesel trim gets 270hp with 560nm just like a reguler 535d

Ash K hi ash. i did enquire about it one time. aparently you need a line converter and tap into rear speaker wires and that converts to rca to got to and amp, then obviously feed power from battery to amp.

Ash K i blanked mine because when i took it off to clean it was very sooty etc. i looked up alot of info about it and it seemed better to blank off really. allows your car to use only fresh air instead of re-using exhaust gasses.

Savater the engine was already warm amd at running temp. i re started engine just for the video.

When the engine was started, the oil had not yet spread through the turbine.

With Style hi. yes for me it is because i have had the cat/dpf and all boxes removed so my pipe is coming straight through thats why you can hear the turbo whooshing.

Okay. but I tried it with particle filter on and off, and also without the fresh air pipe on the turbo and on the egr. have you listened to the soundfile?

I couldnt listen to sound file it wouldnt let me access it.

where is this noise coming from your exhaust?

the noise is from the engine department i guess its the turbo but there is except of that noise and some oil on the air intake of the turbo (some say that oil is normal) no real evidence.

Ash K mate. i didnt use a kit. i removed inlet manifold and just removed flaps. you dont really need the blanks as the existing flap holders act as blanks.

Ash K thanks bud. remap is powerflow stage 2. egr delete, all boxes gone, 3" straight pipe from turbo to twin exit. also got simota high flow air filter. 👍

Ash K yeah its quick especially for a diesel and considering how heavy the car is. i got my exhaust and remap done quite cheap as i have a friend thats in the trade. will be taking it for a dyno run soon so will video it and upload here.
