Worship Awake
is a Christian worship movement aimed at awakening worship in the hearts of those who were called to worship!
It started with 24/7 worship on facebook during lockdown 2020 under the name, Worship South Africa! An open invitation went out to all worship leaders in SA to stand in the frontlines with worship which breaks the yoke during a time where fear took over people’s hearts. Around 300 worship leaders took hands to make this possible and a beautiful movement was birthed! It reached the homes of over 30 000 South Africans.
We now facilitate songwriting retreats where worship songwriters gather to worship God and write songs that honor Him. We're grateful to have been able to capture some of what has been happening at these retreats and we're excited to share that with you!
In a nutshell: We're a bunch of God fearing/loving musicians devoted to worshipping God with our authentic voices and to keep on shifting the focus to the God of love and miracles.
