I honestly don't get the point of the film or the ending. Anybody? What was it he heard in the first place? His imagination? Why the blood? This so first year film school.

This was award-winning? tbh, I'm kinda underwhelmed. Also, I don't really get what happens and why he's freaked out from min 3:13 why fade to black? does he goes in and thinks he came out the other way only to find the same scenery? if that's the case then why leave his bag and also why is it different when he goes back in in the end?

Sounds like a Netflix production most of their endings are a puzzle

I didn’t like the ending otherwise the suspense was good

The film contains a reference to "Pizzagate" (a child pornography and abuse network in Washington D.C.) at the end. The young photographer who went into the tunnel left his knitted cap outside the tunnel. At 7:09 min, his cap is shown in close-up, with a clearly visible embroidery on it, a slice of pizza. I think this is no coincidence.

Why didn’t the first one echo though? It’s def giving troll under the bridge vibes and possibly the rake vibes AND if you go hiking why the F does no one bring a flash light and water?!

It's a good movie. We liked it.

I’ll be honest, I enjoyed this video more than the short film, and the short was enjoyable. Way to go man!

An excellent short horror film,. However I think I would have ended it at the crescendo 5:47 ? There were a few ways to end it ,but I wasn't particularly impressed with the face to face at the end. I just know at 5:47 that black screen hit , I was terrified. Fight or Flight right there. It is excellent just the way it is too, good honest ,fear invoking panic. That's hard to do for me , I am a tough critic of horror. I give it 5 stars! **Everyone's a critic, eh? 😊

Great film, really cool concept! Feel free to ignore these but I have some feedback. After he hears the sound come from the tunnel, he enters pretty casually into that dark void (with the fade to black). I think you could have probably added more tension since it's the very place the creepy echo is coming from. Perhaps by including some more close-ups and having him turn on a flashlight, going in very carefully. The build up when it seems impossible to escape I thought was really good. Him crossing the water could have been another way to show he's really trying to get out of there (or trying his phone). The ending is the only thing I thought wasn't great. Like other commenters have said, having the ending more open could be more powerful in leaving the viewer with an unsettling feeling. Anyway, critiquing is way easier than going out and making a film. Much respect! Also big compliment for the cinematography, you nailed the creepy vibe even though the colors are lush and beautiful. A "simple" static shot like the one @3:01 works incredibly effectively in the edit.

This film makes me feel like I'm an award winning film maker that never made any films.
