Are any of the LOVE remixes better than the original?
Fabulous track listing.
Great father son team. I’ve been an Elvis fan for over 60years and your son knows more than me. Keep up the good work. ❤Australia❤
Yes it was based on SALES. "GOLD". Each song.
Elvis was NOT just a cover artist. LOL! Has more originals than covers.
Ah, that was a funny ending! Thank you! This is my only Elvis Christmas album, but the other is on my wish-list. My version of the "Merry Christmas Baby" is 7:20 min. long. Love that Bluesy song, the best of the album. I didn't know Chuck Berry did that song too. I have a live version by Bruce Springsteen and another one by Hanson.
All of Elvis' Christmas music is great. It also grows on you, so give it a chance. His voice is usually underappreciated because of his charisma, looks, and charm. He could sing anything. Pavarotti once said, "Elvis could sing Opera, but I could never sing like him".
Kid, Just Shut up because you are just showing your ignorance !!!
NO ! Elvis was NOT a Cover Artist !!!! Elvis is the KING of MUSIC !!! ELVIS ! Is the King of MUSIC !! A Professor Of Music At Harvard University said that Elvis was such an Extremely Gifted Vocalist because he had Vocal Registers normally found only in Professionally, Voice Trained, Opera singers. He closed his article by saying that Elvis could hit Hi ''G '' Notes that would make a Baritone Opera Singer turn Green with Envy ! Consider the Following.: Elvis could and did Sing Bass, Baritone, 2nd Tenor and 1st Tenor. Also, Elvis successfully sang Rock N' Roll, Jazz, Country, Gospel, Broadway, Blues, And Rhythm and Blues. And Elvis is the only Performer in the History of Recorded Music that is a Member of FIVE Music Halls Of Fame ! Rock 'n Roll , R & B , Rockabilly , Country and Gospel ! Elvis recorded 875 songs! No One else In the History of Recording has ever come close to matching the Versatility, the Vocal Range, and the Number of records Sold over 2.5 Billion Worldwide ! And Elvis holds the record of having the Highest LP Album Sales Worldwide also! 206,800,000 Albums Sold Worldwide !! Elvis gave 1,684 Concerts and over 6,000 Live Performances during his career as a Entertainer Super Star, a astonishing and amazing achievement not surpassed by anyone ! And over 2.5 Billion Records sold Worldwide ! The Highest Selling Single Artist in the History of Recorded Music ! AND the Only Entertainer in the World that is a member of 5 Music Halls of Fame ! Rock 'n Roll, Rockabilly , Country, R & B, and Gospel ! And 21 other Halls of Fame ! That's Why Elvis is the KING of Music !!!
I like your Beatles album covers made of Legos. I appreciate how you gave an impression of each album cover without the details. Good job, and I say that as an artist.
I lost my mom the 9th of November so Thanksgiving and Christmas is going to be a bit rough but I'll be all right. And then I've got a birthday on January 3rd. As far as my age goes I'm going to be 100😅😂
I love the both of you guys on The first Noel:-). You're not even looking at each other and you both Bob your head at the same time. I'm not only a first generation Beatles fan but there's a lot of people from the 50s I love an Elvis is right up there. And yes I do know that Elvis was around in the 60s and the 70's. When I lived in Vegas I saw Elvis twice. Always enjoy your videos.
LOL! You both start to sway your heads to "The First Noel" at about the same time. 🙂 Nice work on those Beatles Legos!
Elvis never really wrote any songs , but many of his songs were written specifically FOR HIM by other songwriters. Not ALL were cover songs .
Elvis is a legend who never dies. That's a fact 💯
This is still the best selling Christmas Album of the USA and also worldwide Some years ago also awarded diamond for 10 million copies in the USA by RIAA
Oh wow. I had no idea. Even more amazed then that more of these renditions aren't played as much as the other classic versions.
Elvis Presley has Over 400 songs that He recorded.
Young Boy Elvis Presley is the King of Rock and Roll . Wow ... I Know your just Learning about Elvis Presley and I am Very Proud that your Learning. Keep learning And Playing Elvis Presley.

Yes there was a 5 Volume, Yes I Had It.
Do you listen to the full songs? or just bits. I presume it's an edit video but not sure. In my opinion it would probably be better to just listen to one at a time. But what I know. Ha. Thanks guys 😀👍
Copyright restrictions on RUclips are a big hurdle for this type of content. But, this is more of the Reader's Digest model. Just hitting the highlights. 😜
Hola. Te felicito por hacer escuchar al Rey del Rock. Sería interesante para él que lo pueda ver en vivo y descubrir a la persona. Por favor, podrías hacer subtitular tus vídeos así podemos entender la opinión de ustedes. Saludos
Let me tell you I'm 67 I've been listening to elvis buddy holly Jerry Lee Lewis so let me tell you mac Davis wrote in the ghetto for elvis
Oh, this sure brings back memories! I had this Elvis Christmas album on vinyl when I was Sutter's age. I sold my original Elvis vinyl collection many years ago, but many of his albums I now have on CD. But not yet this Christmas album, it's on my wish-list. I do have the 1971 Elvis Sings The Wonderful World Of Christmas album on CD though, with other Christmas songs. And please try to look into the camera at the end when you say goodbye to the viewers, makes it more personal, thank you.
It's hard not to check ourselves in the monitor, being as handsome as we are. But we'll try to look at the camera more until we refine the setup further.
@@KnowYourMusicShow Thank you, I appreciate that.
I know literally nothing about Elvis, so this was really fun to watch. My all-time favourite Christmas album will always be Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas, classic.
Not sure these albums compete with Charlie Brown, but a good listen nonetheless.
Yay, Keystone!! I forgot all about his "Here Comes Santa Claus"! Going to add it to my playlist now. Thanks! Cool Xmas Beatles.
We love Keystone. Sutter went for the first time this summer. Glad you found a new Christmas tune!
Cool Beatles Christmas dolls. I have to say, the Ringo does look like McCartney, and vice-versa, though. 🙂
Definitely just the arrangement on Sillent night. It was composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria
I knew someone would have the info on Silent Night. Thanks!
Love it as always and glad you liked the trivia idea. Watch out, dad!
I have no chance at the trivia.
Elvis did Cover many songs that he liked, but he also had many songs written specifically for him by professional songwriters. So he was not ‘just a Cover artist’, but you can be forgiven because it’s wonderful to see a young man learning about The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
I love Sutter’s knowledge of the Beatles. I discovered the Beatles when I was about his age, and it has brought me joy for 48+ years and counting. I hope you never lose your passion for their music!
No sign of that passion fading, yet!
Much like the documentary, this is a pointless release. Very impressive knowledge from the young guy. 👍✌️
Nah, I enjoyed it
There is still an appetite for any new Beatles material, but I kinda agree with you.
@@KnowYourMusicShow The Capital box set is for Americans. There are other countries in the world...I'm Australian for instance. I hope they start releasing for the rest of the world.
Elvis Presley is back
It's funny the expression Sutter gives dad when he proudly claims he has all The Beatles albums. 🙂Hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
That expression was justified. I should have know that.
Very enjoyable, knowledgeable from the next generation 👏 I heartwarming invite you to join the playhouse!
We'll check it out!
I hadn't seen the tracklist till this video, so I was really hoping it'd have some new mixes of early songs not seen on red/blue. Oh well, they'll get to the early albums eventually (I hope). Also, love that Dad's repping the merch!
Me repping the merch was coincidence, but worked out nicely!
The Thing" is not actually part of the Beatles' title "Long Tall Sally". The song title is simply "Long Tall Sally". However, the original version of "Long Tall Sally" by Little Richard was sometimes referred to as "Long Tall Sally (The Thing)" in some publications and on certain releases. This was likely due to the song's energetic and somewhat chaotic nature, with "The Thing" serving as an additional descriptor to capture its wildness.
That's a strange reason to call it that, but I guess that makes as much sense as anything.
The Miracles and other Motown bands had recently taken over the airwaves for us kids then and that was what we were listening to when the Beatle hit and we hear I Want To Hold Your Hand". Always loving...loving...LOVING the shows. An idea for the endings after the shelves might be to trade off coming up with 5 trivia questions about the artist that week or the previous week. I still love when you played Trivia way back!
This kid needs to listen to the music and quit talking and quit reading and actually listen to the music I'm tired of listening to him talk I really don't care what he thinks he could never compare with anything Elvis ever did in his life but yet he's putting him down he's just a cover artist yeah that pisses me off so I'm done listening to this kid who knows nothing about life why doesn't even listen to the music he's just reading s***
Albums usually had 8--10 songs-- and the cost - $5-- $10 back in the 70s
Dad--you are showing your son the finer simple things in life . Well done-- Obiwan, Rock on !!!
Wow, I never knew John Denver recorded so many albums. 🤔
Looking forward to your Christmas picks! Happy Thanksgiving!
❤😊 well done! Super great album !! Islands is a really beautiful song. The whole album is great!
Nice, great album! It actually coincided with a TV Christmas Special of the same name. I don't think it's on DVD or Blu-Ray but you may be able to find a version on RUclips.
We'll have to look for it. I figured there was some video component to this!
Tracks 7-9 John referred to as 'The Alaska Suite' as they are all themed on that state. Great collection of Beatles memorabilia, I need to watch some of your vids on them, too! When asked about the title track to this album, (and I paraphrase) John said that was happy to sign autographs for people at times but that really, his signature and spirit are in the songs that writes; and that is his real autograph, his words and music.
That's cool info about the name of the album. Never knew that!
Keep up the good work, Sutter! It's great seeing a younger generation appreciating great music, -that's STILL great. In the late 70's/early 80's John's album sales started to dip a bit. Also in the early 80's there was alot of crossover country hits in the pop charts. Artists like Alabama, Kenny Rogers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ronnie Milsap, Juice Newton and others. In a ploy to try and increase sales for JD, RCA pretty much directed him to make a country album much in the style of the above mentioned artists. Unfortunately, JD only wrote 2 songs on this album, 'Sleeping Alone' and 'Country Love'. as RCA wanted to use other songwriters to obtain the style they wanted. Because of this fact I wasn't too happy when the album came out, but John's singing on it is incredible as usual and after time I came to love all the songs on it. The album was a minor hit in the south, but his next two albums 'Seasons Of The Heart' and 'It's About Time' are two of my all time favorites of his!
Good info. Thanks for sharing!
Please don't stop the shelf time part!
He should probably just make videos about the shelf at this point. The most popular part.
I like looking at all your music memorabilia. John Denver sure had a lot of albums!
No kidding! I feel like there are still so many albums to go through!
No stopping the shelf 😅
We're going to have to resort to just putting random stuff on the shelf to keep this going. "This week...well...here's my toothbrush. It's an Oral-B. Neat, huh?"
Another fun review!
Some days are stones. Worse days are kidney stones!
LOL. Good point.
