@@Llawliet2nd I’m not sure. if I remember correctly, Sans was once an assistant of Gaster before he fell into his own creation, and Alphys took that role of assistant scientist. as for Chara, when they first fell down, it’s heavily implied that they appear to be the same age as Asriel, who was probably 12 or 13 at the time, based on their height. even some sources say that Chara was 13 years old when they fell into the underground, but that’s not really reliable. overall, the chances of Sans and Chara being the same age may be plausible, but that’s still up for debate
