On this channel we compare video games from the last few decades.
To do this, we take a standard size and cut off the black bars from each game. You can then see the difference exactly on our Alien Monitor.
We used light filters for older generations of consoles in 2D games. For all 3D consoles we leave the games in their original condition.

Snes MK2 was the version i had as a 16 year old, got the 32X version several year's later, both excellent ports but the 32X just edge's out on top, more colours and crisper looking sprites.
But still has that poopy scratchy Genesis sound lol.
The SNES version still stands tall. The 32X was the Genesis game with a few small improvements.

The 32X version is a significant improvement over the Megadrive/Genesis port, better graphics, animation (including full win poses that were missing from Cage, Baraka & Kitana ), voice announcements are all there, and all the intro Story and character bios are now included.

The Sega 32X version is definitely an improvement over the Sega Genesis version with its better use of color & details + having Arcade accurate voiceovers (but not in music), the intro story with the actual artwork (which the Super Nintendo version lacks), character bio artwork & having Goro's Lair like most versions have.
32X owners must have been livid. There are barely any improvements over the Genesis version.

Amiga port is fairly impressive (although a little bit choppy) but when playing on actual hardware, constantly having to change the disc really spoiled it, and only having two buttons affected gameplay more than on the MK1 port. Mega Drive/Genesis port is the winner.

Yes the arcade version did look + sound better Arcade version had a 10 MHz Motorola 68000 + 3.5 MHz Zilog Z80 vs SNES did not Arcade version had a Yamaha YM2151 audio (sound) chip vs SNES did not Arcade version 384 x 224 resolution Arcade version 4,096 colours on screen vs SNES = 256 colours on screen Arcade version 256 sprites on a screen vs SNES = 128 sprites

The Genesis port had no chance of living up to it's potential. Probe made it.
Im impressed by the sound on nintendo 64. Catridges arent suppose to sound as good as disks but this one does

The reason the Amiga 500 was the target for ports of the hottest new arcade game had to do with install base size. There were far more Amiga 500 owners than 1200 owners. An Amiga 1200 can play games made for the Amiga 500, but the reverse isn't true. Thus it made sense for a publisher to target the weaker hardware.
The SNES port of the game was Ed Boon's favorite home conversion.

Poor Bruce only ever got to star in one GOOD game. Y'all know the one I'm talking about. The one that came out for every 1980s computer.

The arcade version was based on psx hardware.
Graphic MD, gameplay Snes. The original game has a zoom that allows you to fight even from a distance, which is possible with the small graphics of the snes, the same size as the neo geo with the zoom, but not that of the md.
Sega ippon!
With richer audio, a complete roster and move set, the SNES version was the only 16-bit port of this game to own.

TFW your the version you bought for you $300 Sega Genesis addon has *less* content than the bog standard SNES port. OOF! The only real "extra" the Sega-CD has is "CD Audio", the booby prize of Sega-CD ports. Oh, and load times. I guess that counts as an extra feature.
