@@kleptosepto1848 That’s unintelligent. God does not have to determine all things if he doesn’t want to. And the God of the Bible certainly doesn’t. Are you Christian?

God allowing everything to happen is just as deterministic as God decreeing everything to happen. Either way God is in control.

I’ll admit, I’m a bit biased against describing things as paradoxes merely to avoid explaining them. God’s justice and mercy is no paradox - He is merciful in Christ to all who receive Him, and just towards all (the wicked receiving the justice due them, and Christ bearing God’s wrath directed towards the elect). The Trinity makes complete sense in actuality, it is human reason which falters. And God sovereignly directs all things and chooses to hold man responsible. God is sovereign over all things, including human will. Man is responsible because he is the one doing the sinning. Scripture takes no issue with man being responsible for the sin God ordained he would do, so neither should we. God declares what is sinful - that is, what is rebellious against Himself - and sovereignly ordains that the wicked would do these things. God never said that there was any issue with Him shaping the clay into whatever shape best suits His purpose, so obviously what He has done cannot be sinful. Furthermore, as it is done purely for His glory, it clearly cannot be rebellion against Himself. That really isn’t much of a paradox, in my view. God bless!
