So how do we tell the story of the landscapes and spaces we cross? Like you do, i guess :) Beautiful text spoken over immersive video footage, and then uploading it on the internet. Travelling puts so many beautiful words on my mind, those that don't come otherwise. It's magical, if you sit down to write sometimes you can't create anything beautiful for hours, but when you travel to a strange city, suddenly the words come on their own. And the movie sounds amazing. I think i have never watched something like it, something that can capture this feeling. The setup is great, that he's looking for the girl's grandmother, but she doesn't know where she is, only how her house looks.

"Here, people open their windows to look at i don't know what, but the eyes of the city are prettier than what they're looking at" so much beauty in your words, always slowly imbuing my life with beauty through your videos.

Toujours aussi beau ce mélange d'images anciennes et d'images d'aujourd'hui, ces rêves qui viennent rejaillir dans les images d'hier pour en transformer le sens, la circulation, ces langues qui dialoguent ensemble, ces ruptures dans le récit ou la musique que l'image accompagne avec légèreté, douceur, cette nostalgie sans regret, tendre, qui a le goût du présent

Je connais un photographe qui avait fait le rêve d'emporter son appareil photo dans son sommeil pour y photographier ses rêves mais qui, devant l'impossibilité de le faire, avait réalisé une série de photographies de ses lits au réveil associé à une image prise de manière aléatoire dans les nombreuses photographies de son quotidien. Je pense à son projet en regardant vos films où l'on retrouve souvent l'image de draps froissés et cette belle idée que vous partagez avec lui de filmer l'intérieur des rêves. Le tout accompagné par ces quelques notes de piano de Jean Constantin qui m'émeuvent à chaque fois que je les entends.

Très beau portrait de ville (avec cette adresse à la ville visitée et les paroles échangées avec ceux rencontrés sur place qui se font écho), portrait qui comme souvent est aussi un autoportrait qui se dessine en creux, avec pudeur et délicatesse.

That question changes the directory; it picks you up and shows you love, shows you the still bright things in the world. I bet there are many more beautiful books to read. Sights to behold. Times and ages to witness, to daydream about... And you can always reread Madame Bovary. Very nice video! Happy 25 :))) And thanks for helping me feel for my 25 as well.

Hii Giraay:) Thaanks for everything yoou saay about the video🌼🍃 And yes pleease make a video of your summer, that would be so cool🌞 Hii and I feel you for being tired of translation, it taakes so much more time, but to me doing a video in French and in English is less complicated than adding subtitles huu📖 Yet translation is also interesting because you realize how you can express certain feelings depending on the language you use Soo I also struggle with free copyrights music 🎶 if there's a music I really like, I look for the instrumental version, or I choose classical music but often they're not even free because there is a copyright for the person who played it aah😅

I really enjoyed seeing your life, your friends :) also very nice cinematography. I love the video essay format. This inspired me to do some myself. I want to record my summer 2024 and put together a video essay like you do. And, it's such a great idea to record the same video in French and in English. I did the same for one of my videos (Turkish and English), i used to do it for my writing too, but it is a lot of work and i got tired and i don't do it anymore. But! If it were not for the English version, i wouldn't be able to experience this creation, so maybe i should continue creating English versions (whenever i can). That's something else that inspired me. By the way, your cinematography and movie skills are really showing. This video feels nice and warm. I like the soft music in the background and the happy small videos of people and places following after each other, like a quiet sunset in the countryside. P.S.: one question, how do you manage to not get the vid copyrighted because of the music?
