Distracted by an ol "Bigmouth" Bass on a successful Good News Crappie Jig trip to another North Central Texas lake.

White is a great color in muddy water. This trip reaffirmed my belief in white jigs when the water looks like it belongs in a YooHoo bottle. I managed to catch a couple on each of the six Good News Jig colors. White and Chartreuse, and Yellow and Chartreuse were the most effective.
