Hylestad promo video Pagan Lutherie
A short promotional video to introduce you to our interpretation of the Hylestad lyre. This time adorned with a beautiful red dress that suits her to delight.
History and origins of the instrument:
Create from the representation of a lyre on the wood carving of the portal of the Norwegian church of Hylestad dating from the 12th Century, where we can see King Gunnar playing his lyre in the snake pit into which Atila threw him. The lyre depicted had 12 strings.
