It's important to remember that when you are chasing a target through multiple solar systems you don't want to get too far ahead of your fleet. in this scenario, Number 95 did 4 jumps away from the initial point of contact, since frigates and interdictors jump faster than cruisers, Nullum Inanis's fleet was coming but they were at least 2 jumps out. At 30 seconds per jump, you are going to need more Shield or Armor (Effective Hit Points) to hold a target if you cant kill it until your fleet arrives or as in this scenario, there were TWO.
