Scene comparison between "Reliving Marilyn" (2018) with footage from Monroe's unfinished film "Something's Got To Give" (1962)
Mini review:
"Rather than a heartwarming depiction of a promise kept, Blackbyrne’s detached manner and raspy voice conjures up visions of a serial killer tending to his latest victim."

The real life Escape to Nowhere is epic.
Idk if jafaar can top this
It's crazy because they skipped the entrie jacksons era
They sound just alike at 1:30
Kidman and Bardem did a fine job. The issue with this film is the directing. A better director would have recreated some scenes frame by frame to give the actors the chance to shine. (Think Natalie Portman in Jackie doing the tour of the White House). Instead, he cuts away from Bardem's legs while he's dancing, gives Kidman only 2-3 seconds to replicate what Ball was doing, and never really lets us see what these actors can do in a longer, uninterrupted take. The director and the editor did the actors a diservice.
Death
You know how they talk about certain stars just having that something special that sets them apart. The clip of Liza brilliantly demonstrates this. The subtle more. That extra sparkle. Fantastic and rare.
He did it perfect .👍
Anderson Donna Hernandez David Thompson Mary
Austin studied him so intensely and really captured his personality and essence, one of the best biopics and movies ive seen
I don't know what it is about watching Lucy act. It's like she's an enigma. We say we know her but we never know her. And when someone portrays her it's the same thing especially with Frances Fisher who did the most excellent job of playing her: you can't pinpoint Lucy. She's a mystery.
Comical how all the young people in these comments actually think Butler was songing these songs. Come on.
Why are people saying Austin Butler sang these songs? Any real elvis fan knows this is 100 percent elvis singing. Come on. He might have sang Hound Dog in 57, but thats it.
I like ray, Danton, I love George raft. To be copied, is a very high compliment. In these comparisons, there’s no comparison. Ray had the looks, very handsome, gorgeous wife, Julia Addams… The George raft had IT.. whatever that intangible something that comes across on the screen is, George raft had it I wish george had not turned down, playing Sam spade in the Maltese falcon, the part that went to Humphrey Bogart instead, because george turned it down George raft also turn down another part that ended up going to Bogart, he turned down, playing rick in Casablanca.. I love what george said, happened to all his money over the years. He said something like, “ Ispent my money on women and gambling, the rest, I spent foolishly.. George raft is from a time when actors had class on and off the screen..
Do one on carl alfalfa switzer from our gang to his murder at 31
Little person who needs to have a biopic about his life is Ira Hayes I mean he really went through a rough time after the war I mean his story is sad and deserves to be told of what he went through the hardships and all
I think if they were to ever make a biopic down today I know who can portray him: Taylor Lautner
Do the Snoop Dogg story
Do The Master P Story
I need Master P biopic or Snoop Dogg biopic
I need Snoop Dogg biopic
Was the guy watching her Master P of Snoop Dogg?
Can you please do straight Outta Compton vs real life
Can you play N.W.A.
Hi. Thanks for your support. Our channel and associated website (thebiopicstory.com) focuses on movies about movies and/or their cast and crew. We had a look at doing 'Straight Outta Compton' a while ago, but for whatever reason didn't proceed. We will have another look at it in the future. Regards
Michael Jackson's Nephew Jafaar Jackson release date Michael movie 2025
Funny….this may be the only time in film history that the subject was better looking than the actor portraying the subject
Cheryl Ladd has a beautiful soft face, nice.
Loved the movie!! These guys did a great job! I really loved the guy that played Micky! Micky is my favorite Monkee❤🌻✌️!
Take Me Home The John Denver Story Based On A True Story Of John Denver
Great movie
I Love You Michael Jackson I Love You
Austin Butler Is Elvis Presley 😱
🎵 32 years later and I still think the choreography was horrible compared to the original J5. 😳😵💫😞😫
The dance comparison at 0:38 was hilarious!
The actor playing Johnny Rotten looks nothing like him whatsoever.
Looks more like Malcolm Mclaren.
The J5 Medley in the movie was actually a comparison to the Victory Tour, not MT25
I love Elvis Presley is is the best and his voice will melt your heart ❤❤❤❤
Austin Butler had Elvis' every move and gesture off to sheer perfection. He completely nailed that role and was definitely cheated out of his Best Actor Oscar win. An oustanding performance.
Austin ha lavorato molto bene! Non deve essere stato facile impersonare Elvis......il grandissimo Elvis !
He did such an amazing job
I can't understand why they not built the accurate sets from the show and their respective seasons. In the movie the set of the house is from another season. Inaccurate and not loyal to the story.
Quite right. Austin has done an impeccable job at portraying Elvis. He is destined for great things and deseverdly so
Definitely not my Elvis ❤
Austin is one great actor.❤❤❤❤❤
Yes he is our beloved talented Mr Austin bulter loved Elvis movie and fantastic Mr Elvis Presley
Austin Butler certainly did a brilliant job of playing Elvis in that biopic and SHOULD have been rewarded with a much deserved Best Actor Oscar for his efforts, as he got him off to a tee.
@@stephenalanmoore7278 l am still bit mad that Austin did not win a Oscar not one Oscar for Elvis movie Shame
@@jeikevanvelthoven6726 Yes. I couldn't agree more. It was a brilliant performance that really captured the true essence of Elvis' voice, personality and performance style, yet he was still unjustly and unbelievably snubbed at the Oscars.
