Comfortable mention how much you spent? I'm 38 and only two years ago could I afford my 01' Celica GT-S $8K but with all the stuff I fixed/upgraded it's now at $14K. I REALLY wanted one of these instead, but I need a daily opposite my Supra and the 6th gen is INCREDIBLY expensive at least here in Oregon. She looks amazing. You better keep her in amazing shape and enjoy her :)

The polo GTi are dq200 not dq250 The dq200 has issues with the mechatronics and clutch packs as they are dry clutch The dq250 does not have the same issues, they are tested to 700nm on stage 3 setups perfectly fine Yes mechs go wrong but nowhere near as often as you make out.

Used to live in London. In 2021 bought a 2009 2.0tsi GT for 5k. Had problems with ignition coils. I have to say to anyone out there... it's REALLY important you go to a proper, reputable, skilled mechanic (bonus if he has specific VW knowledge). I went to 2 mechanics in London (one was VW affiliated), the other a bit of an MOT cowboy, both let me down. Anyway, moved back to Ireland and had recurring cylinder/coil issues until i finally found a top mechanic (i was lucky). I've have had ZERO problems since (3 years later), fantastic car

Hey brother good video! Although I’d recommend changing the HKS intake…the foam filter has been known to get sucked in by these cars.

Honestly with the tyres i was the same on cheap ones, went through a ridiculous amount every couple months, got some conti sc7’s on my new wheels and they’ve been unreal, still loads of life after months

Got a scirocco myself that is very similar, Running goodyears and I'm on my 3rd set (front) after just over a year. I also slapped some Bilstein's b14's on and gained a lot of stability when putting power down (straights or corners).

Nice video, but should have bought BRD or TBD downpipe instead of this chinese crap...I fell to this trap too, throwed whole downpipe to bin and bought quality one from TBD. Its good to find as many info as you can when you want to modify this car, sometimes its best to leave some things stock as Toyota´s engineers made it originally, or find the proper info to buy quality part :)

so you fitted a 6 bolt eBay decat that are not made for the 205? they are not jigged correctly and should have a 7 bolt flange, there all so well known for not letting the wategate open full so you get boost creep you should speak to BRD as they may 1 correctly for the 205 that fits right has a 7 bolt flange and does let the gate open fully all so no support bracket to keep the down pipe in place and were soon to have the front B pipe available for the 205 Brooks racing development

What happend when you start a Navigation over the Radio? I find nothing about this for die digital cluster. Will be ne navigation like an mk7.5 with vitrualcockpit or how does it looks like?

Thanks! I think you should do a bunch of common maintenance videos that would be useful for owners. Timing belt, spark plugs, key sensors, etc. Rear diff mount is a common victim, too.

Done mine on my GT-Four back in 2006 - Hot water over the rubber hose gets these off pretty easily. I had to adjust the spring a bit too iirc as it was dumping slightly when idle.

Great video, looking forward to seeing more! You got a screaming-good deal on this car for 7800. Even after the repairs. Here's a bunch of answers to your questions in the video: Regarding the hood air vents, the top middle and two back are for getting hot air up and out of the engine bay, not feeding cool air in. Yes, that does mean there is an issue keeping the intercooler water from filling with heat (called a "heat soak" condition) but that isn't an issue for a road car since it's not being driven hard for multiple hours, and in a race car there's enough air coming in the front that it's ok. Front mounted intercooler replacements are relatively popular on this car though, for that reason. The big center hood grill is blocked on the road car by bonnet insulation and a rain gutter tray so the engine doesn't get rained on, but in a race car those would be removed for better heat removal from the engine bay. There are two more intakes to speak of. The little circle one next to the big hood grill is a timing belt cooler. I've never heard of timing belts overheating but with this car you never will, haha. There is one more hidden intake. Underneath the engine in on the left there is an underside intake that comes up and feeds cool air to the alternator. Hope that helps explain all the intakes. Enjoy the new car! It's a fun one. BTW: If you are starting to push horsepower, you will be limited to about 330hp before you need to replace your fuel delivery system (fuel pump/fuel rail/injectors) in order to deliver enough fuel to avoid going lean with all the air the turbo is pushing in. Protip, I'm told the supra mk4 OEM fuel pump is plug and play for this car and can push more fuel. I sent you an email about your turbo recirculator valve. I'm interested in buying a used one when you get a blowoff valve to replace it. I own a 99 GT-Four in white. Lastly, the reason your rear spoiler isn't the one you like is that they had a smaller OEM spoiler for the middle years. The big wing was replaced with a smaller flatter spoiler for the 1995/96 model years and I think came back with slight differences for the 97 and later years. (riser blocks are all black on the 94 ones, painted on the later ones). So your car probably has an aftermarket one because it never had the OEM wing in the first place.

Nice to see a new video about the st205 gt4. Would love to see more. Especially how the anti lag works on this car. It's allmost impossible to find any information or guidance to either install or activate it. Then there's also the water cooling, sprinklers to cool the motor down. Nice you see someone Young interested in these. If it's a ct26 will be a standard turbo, therefore can raise boost to approx. 1.1bar is maximum. Unfortunately you will not be getting 440 bhp out of a standard engine car, at a push 320-330 bhp (fly) before they start to let go, this is a 30+ year old designed engine. I've had mine for nearly 20 years, great car and really well built car and great fun on the back roads

Does the cluster take over the mileage of the car? Cause it seems to not appear with the digital cluster

I’ve had issues with one side always fogging up and found it was a loose cap that caused. Maybe check your cap to access the bulbs if you have one.
