ah mate, love it! from what i can see... africa twin? if i could give you a bit of advice and please take this in the spirit it is meant, you should join a local bike group and ride in a group. i promise it will help your riding and sharpen your cornering. fingers crossed and you never know, we might meet up at a roll shop somewhere... but if we dont, stay safe mate and keep her inside the white lines!

Is there also a 307 7-string bass? After having spent nearly 30 years resisting getting Ibanez basses and guitars, I could imagine buying a 7-string version of this and having it tuned B-E-A-D-G-B-E to sound like the Fender Bass Six (with that extra B).

Thank you for the detailed presentation and comparison of the two basses!! Since yesterday I own a Hohner The Jack from 1988. It was in a horrible state and the electronics didn’t work either. Fortunately, I managed to bring it back to life! I also cleaned and polished it. It still looks used - definitely not as spotless as yours - but that doesn’t bother me as it shows it’s been used. Also, mine features sunshine special. Someone exchanged the original select pickups for real EMGs. And I also bought a Hohner B2A. Still waiting for it to get here, though. Now, after watching your video - I need a Hohner B-Bass, too 🤦🏻‍♂️

the 96 black logo is poplar.the silver logo and spaghetti logo are both alder

the 90s black logo and silver logo mim fenders ran concurrent in the 90s,the black logo was a cheaper version of the silver,theres a 4th logo,around 2006 the mim fender standards changed from silver to black with gold outline,these ran 2006 to 2018,then replaced with the spaghetti logo fender player series to current day,other higher up mim lines the classic player/classic series allways had the spaghetti gold logo

What language is that? Kidding, but holy cow that accent is hard to understand for a Canadian. I have a Transalp, latest in a long series of bikes over a 50 year period. Tons of power if you are in the right rev range. Very comfortable on the highway, and very manageable off-road. As long as the power is adequate it then becomes about weight and handling. I’m done with heavy bikes.

Im the exact same mate, I tend to stay away from the biking haunts. I prefer single track roads.

You would need to be pretty stupid to buy this with an A2 license then have its power halved to ride it a total waste of money you would buy an nx500 which is A2. 🙄

You could literally fall asleep riding that bike. It’s that boring. If you have bought the Transalp your admitting your life is over 😂

Did you know that you can flip between your satnav and the clock screen on the 2020+ AT by flicking your (left hand) phone rocker down? To be clear, left-hand switch on the top of the left controls (near to the full beams).

Don’t think you can compare the AT to the Transalp, the AT can be twice the price for a start. It’s a lot heavier, more bulky and appeals to a different segment of rider.

I don't know why this came up on my RUclips "feed list" but I lived in Ayr from ~ 1970-1976 (I'm a Sassenach) and went to Alloway PS and then Ayr Academy. My immediate family live in the Edinburgh-Perth-Dundee corridor. It's still a long ride from Berwick upon Tweed down to Folkstone. I now live in Canada and did a 2500 mile trip last year from Toronto down to Skyline Drive and the Blue-Ridge Parkway down to the Tail of the Dragon, also taking in the Cherahala Skyway and the Back of the Dragon - the latter on the way home - ride an FJR1300. Have a good trip.

We used to visit Largs and Cumbrae but gave up once the changed the rules for the car park because some council members wanted bikers to pay for parking. Is the car park still the same or have they changed the rules again? That nice bit of road for no reason at all is a forty now all the way along, you missed several 40 road markers on the way.
