This my sv1000s I've know fitted the wheelie bars next step is to fit the slick tyre and launching on the rev limiter 11.5rpm 1/4 10.3 seconds 127mph but I was wheel spinning off the line so I'm know going to fit the slick tyre 👍🏼

Lets take a bike that is just MADE for cornering and but an extended swingarm on it and stick a big old turbo on the side just to make sure it no longer can do the one thing it was made to do. Just take a busa if you want to build a turbo on something.
got a B4 1997 Model too since this year with low 22000 km. absolut worth giving some love to this... (I call it) "mini Hayabusa".... its absolut stable at higher speed...and sportslike handling with the right tires and tire pressure. B3 and especially B4 models are know to have better suspension, better breaks and less head gasket problems... it seams the factory back then solved it finally❤ all the best

Seems like the incorrect engine choice for a drag bike, but whatever!
Dial in racing is rider against rider ,not machine ! And there is also many classes in drag racing...
Incorrect engine? Not necessarily, it all depends on the class, for example currently the world record for NA single cylinder small cc two strokes engines is 9.6sec 1/4mile on a 160cc, Four Strokes is 9sec on a NA single 350cc, it all depends, each country has their own categories.

I clicked it because of a general interest of mine in stone masonry, however, i kept coming to it for the music pieces. I see that now they have changed somehow. I would like to have a name of the piece that plays before the last.

Hi, I'm doing a gsx250 at the moment and wanted to ask a couple of questions. Are they specific cafe handle bars or the original turned down? Also what have you done with the battery. Thanks
charlie p The handles are Ace bars I just measured the diameter of the original bars. The battery is under the site I have other vids on RUclips that shows the just look on my page I also used this bike to get my drag racing licence which from memory I posted a video called my first drag race. Nice runs. Nice bike. The runs with 2 stroke were unfortunate. Hard to hear SV. They make enough music by themselves!

Sounds like you've done "MUCH" work to the SV1000. Sounds GOOD!!!! Where did you find someone to do high performance work on an SV1000?
If you want internals, I recommend WiseCo and then looking around at cam options; our bikes are very very similar to a TL1000R engine too, by the way, so some things are swaps, like the clutch basket to eliminate our chudder
I'm going to have to look into that. I'm a huge VTwin fan and I'd like to jump on a TL 1000, SV 1000, or a Honda RC 51. But, your SV sounds damn good!
That's my old bike I put abou70, 000 miles on it on the road before it new life with its new owner.

What a fine piece of workmanship, well done...
Hi we were running it on the standard airbox and exhaust to start with but to gain power and lose weight we rejetted the carburettors main jet by 7 sizes with pod filters and a 2 into 1 straight through exhaust which increased the power by 4BHP and an improvement of 1.5 seconds over a 1/5 mile with a personal best of 12.77 second. For the next season we will advance the timing and lighten the crank remove the water pump and alternator and fabricate a ram air system as a experiment
The bike would do even better with the stock airbox fitted and correctly pressured exhaust.
