Joy to the World/Sing Christmas Reprise
A gedeckt IS a stopped diapason.
Too bad the organ has been SO profoundly altered from its original stoplist. 😟
Are you playing Sousa in this?
No. I’m shooting video
Unusual, isn't it?
I like the combination of piano and organ. They work well together for the Mass of Renewal.
It's incredibly hard to find a good recording of this song for some reason, so thank you.
Do you have perfect pitch?
1:05 PM
Nicely done, Daniel
19:53 is that an Rc plane?
Bro I’m in middle school (now 8th) and we had to learn this whole song in a month to preform infront of the school, I was the loudest trombone (out of 3 girls) so I had to carry measures 64 and 123 (I think I don’t have the music anymore) and it sucked. But this was cool to watch even tho it’s sight reading

Dover and San Antonio have C-5's too, if you cared.
I really enjoy your videos keep it up
Great video!
Thanks for sharing. Awesome show ☺️
I saw my self in your video a couple times lol. My favorite was the Blue Angels sneaky pass
It was an amazing show!
❤❤❤❤❤
fantastic job, many thanks!! Stoplist and voicing to die for. Love the little improvisations. And those strings are heavenly..Cheers from Munich, Stefan
I'd love to spend some time at that console
Totally refreshing to see a young man getting into some good music and not gangster rap or hip hop
Haven’t done this in a while and I’m not reading the actual sheet music
3:48 PM How is it rough?
This is a cool demo!
Great demonstration!! The organ sounds wonderful in that room. The organ has some powerful reed stops.
A flute organ, and the pitch emphasis on each division is an octave higher than it should be. Perhaps because of vertical constraints (a stopped flute is only half as tall as its speaking length).
It's just Detroit and Orlando now.
Hi Daniel, great idea to have the 25 days of Christmas played on 25 different organs. Really enjoyed this song "Joy To The World". Hopefully you can do this again in the future.
Hi Daniel, thanks for describing and playing the stops on this Wendhack Organ. I was surprised that they just have 2 pedal stops. The full organ sounded great.
The one from Ann Arbor is currently in my boss’s shop in pieces. Most likely going to be parted out. It was originally built by Robert Fouser who was an Ann Arbor based builder and Wendhack did some work on the organ. Due to its construction it most likely will not be reassembled for future use
Interesting… didn’t know that. Hope it finds a good home!
I have one and I bought it.
...how bout that 4th valve...
I think we are doing this on Holy Thursday our parish choir. But most likely everything from the Agnus Dei on Palm Sunday - Easter Vigil Jesus Christ Is Risen Today or Entrance Jesus Christ Is Risen Today on Easter Sunday will be on the Piano so our choir director can conduct and play at the same time! Plus we have a Guitarist, a Flute Player, A Recorder and a Violinist. When my mom was playing before she died in August of 2020 she would play organ and piano both throughout Holy Week and our choir director would conduct. Except Easter Sunday my mom did the Early Mass and choir director did the other two. God Bless! 😀
Well done. Not the easiest of pieces to play.
🎉🎉🎉
I enjoyed your tour of these Walker organ stops. I had never heard of this brand before, sounds are pretty typical, reminds me of the Allen at our church. I would have liked to have heard the reeds that I usually use as solo stops with an accompaniment. If you ever do another tour, think of doing that rather than just playing them as chords. Again, I enjoyed this tour. Thank you.
Oh so scarrry!
Do you have any music sheet for this?
Ewww
3:13 what song were they playing?
Were you on the cruise as a solo passenger or were you with family? I recall on previous vlogs you were on previous cruises with family. I'm surprised you as a young adult are so into HAL... surely Royal Caribbean or Carnival or MSC appeal more to those in their twenties?
scary...why?
Did the doors stay closed...
This ain’t the 737.
What is a "Scarebus?"
What my academic advisor calls any Airbus. He retired from American back in ‘17 after flying the Boeing side of the fleet
@@danielobrien7738 Ahh ok. I kinda figured there was some sort of a double-meaning related to that. But there are so many now who misspell everything it was hard to tell here. Thanks!
Beautiful approach...BUT!... I've flown the A321 to MIA and FLL many times and never anything like the "dog barking". AA needs to get out the WD40...Yikes!...😅
Yeah it was pumping fluid constantly while we were on the ground at Charlotte
So, you made this so we could hear the malfunctioning hydraulic system that sounds like a dog barking, right? Is that why it was "scary?"
I only call it a Scarebus because that what my academic advisor called them. He retired from American in 2017 and flew all their Boeings, minus the 747
What's scary are the cries of that baby lol
