Glock 43x Full Review!!!

My opinions on the Glock 43x after over 2 years of daily carry!!! It's good but I'd take a careful look at other offerings before going with this one. Overall a good carry that suffers from low capacity for the size.

Pixel 8 vs. OnePlus 12r MEGA Comparison (PIXEL RANT)
I have the b9 carry and I haven't had any issues with it. Between my son and I we've shot around 1000 rounds through it. The only gripe I have is the magazines it came with. They work but they're really rough. I have some WC magazines on order.
The two biggest reasons I see to get a dap these days IMO is the battery life of your phone and storage space. If you use a DAP you are not draining your phone and phones these days don't have that much storage unless you spend way more for small amounts of extra storage. With the next generation of phones potentially offering 2tb but also costing around $1500. Where as just about every modern DAP can support 1tb+ usually and has removable sd cards for storage upgrades or separate cards for separate libraries. Also with a DAP you have the option of just keeping it plugged into your car or sound system. Though car will depend on where you are and the likelihood of someone breaking in to take it. I do like the idea of a used phone as a dedicated DAP option though again you run into potentially low storage capacity, older versions of Android you can't upgrade, and some services not working unless you are connected to a network and not just wifi just like with some DAPs. As far as Android vs independent DAPs go I prefer ones that don't run android so you don't have to worry about it just not working anymore when you can't upgrade android anymore but you can run into problems with things like audio books (not keeping track of where you are) and how albums are stored with some models (more of a shuffle mode then albums). Unless you just have money to burn I feel the best options right now are the HiBy R4 or m300, and just about any of the non android ones between $100 and $200 (though check reviews). All that said I do not own a DAP and I have never even had an mp3 player back when everyone had an iPod or similar. I just use my phone, an inexpensive amp, and a couple of aux cables for some music in my car and just IEMs with an adapter when not in my car. Though my current phone does not have any kind of default audio apps for onboard music and there are not many good free options I am aware of, and I have not pulled the trigger on buying one yet. If I do get a DAP though it will likely be an android one so I can just put Audible on it and not have to deal with the pain of formatting the couple hundred audio books I have to work outside of the app. I will also say after all that that like 70% to 80% of all HiFi gear is snake oil that can be sold for whatever they want because people can't really tell the difference between most things as long as it is not just crap.
Hiby r4 x Eva ftw❤
you are so right! The Doscincos are excellent!
I used to have these but returned them after 2 weeks. I listed to Rap/Hip-Hop, and I didn't find that these headphones had enough bass to go along with the rest. Also the cheap accessories really bothered me because it adds to the cost. I ended up getting the HBB Deuce which fit my library perfectly.
Why not both? I use DX180 when I go outside, on travel by train or plane for example. I use DX180 + DC-Elite at home or when behind my desk working.
when i plug a set of iem or headphone into an amp, does the amp affects the sound of it?
That's the exact wallpaper i use on my Pixel 8
What can I say. I have dx200 (with amp5), cayin5i, fiiox3ii and dongle - fiio ka13. I won’t debate but fiio ka13 outperforms of them all. Hell even hifiman He400se sound MUCH better and lively on fiio ka13 than dx200 😮. Also I can connect it to anything I want and stream through any app I want. Case closed.
i'm just going to say it and this is only my opinion. why not the 2011? because it's expensive af and i'll consider it when i level up my income but for right now... Tisas all the way baby
Tisas makes a 2011
I'm about to pull the trigger on one! Like you I've done a lot of research on the Tisas and am new to 1911's. Grab A Gun has the exact same model for 399 plus with 15 off anything over 250. How has it been?
Easy recommend from me
@@ToastyTexan911 I purchased the Tisas Duty, couldn't be happier!
some of you are riding dumb reasons for dongles...you gotta realize that MOST OF YOU are not going to connect your dongles to sources THAT ARENT YOUR PHONE. None of you are buying unlocked phones and putting dongles on them (you should, but you dont). That said, most dongles do cause stress on a USB-C port ONLY IF the dongle is light...some dongles are not light, and once you add a heavy headphone cable , it will mos def cause stress on your chain UNLESS YOU USE IEMs solely. That said, there is a plethora amount of reasons a dongle is not practical and a standalone portable amp with a DAP is a better solution
I was happy with mine until I went to shoot it. I had fail to feed all over the place. Being ex military I knew the issue so I had to polish both feed ramps and lights file the inside lower inside the barrel and polish again. After that it functions flawlessly with FMJ and hollow points all day.
No issues with mine
DAP's are for pro, dongles for semi pro, phones for noobs
Very informative video thank you. Im ready to pull the trigger on these, but since i dont have a Dac or Amp im wondering if they will be fine or if i should get one.
hello mate , loved your ziigaat doscinco review , can you do a review about ziigaat doscinco in immersive gaming because the bass is soo good I thought it might be good for immersive gaming . I'm looking at this iem and Beyer dynamic Tygr 300r for single player immersive gaming because it's all I do .😅
Sure thing, so i understand, what are some specific games you are referring to?
@@ToastyTexan911 single player games like witcher 3 , metro Exodus, GTA 5 , big open world or even smaller scope immersive games even Call of duty Campaign. how do these perform, I've heard that they are really good for immersive bass filled games and how's the soundstage
Ok that's what I thought you meant but wanted to make sure

iPhone 16 pro if you like iPhone. If you wanna move to Android wait for the next gen and go for samsung, OnePlus, and maybe the pixel 9 because admittedly it does seem like a big upgrade but wait for some reviews

the 12R is an absolute unit ! Great phone
LG V60 for the win 1.5 TB SD Card Power AMP plus EQ
It depends on your needs. I have really sensitive iems. When connected to my phone via dongle, the hum and buzz are pretty obvious between songs even while on the subway. It is worst when I have other apps running in the background, wifi connection, etc. A plain old dap solves this. Or else I'd grab my tws to pair with my phone instead, if I'm prioritizing convenience over sound quality.
I have the Oneplus 12R, and it's an absolutely fkn fantastic phone! ... got mine for $399. I couldn't care less about optical zoom and wireless charging. Only because, 85 watt warp charge, I can get to 80% charge that lasts all day in literally 10-12 minutes. Unreal. The 12R is a flagship phone if understood, you're not really going to be using optical zoom, and or, the very slow wireless charging that other "flagship phones" have. The 12R has a huge battery, so you only need to charge the phone for 20 minutes before you leave home each day. You really never even need wireless charging. I have the Google Pixel 8 Pro and I like the Oneplus 12R much better. I still have my Google Pixel 2 XL and Oneplus 8T. Also, if you're old skool like me, you had the very 1st Oneplus One back in the day, that I believe cost around $299 new and came out in 2014? Maybe 10 years ago. The most was a game changer back then. I wish more people understood the Oneplus's humble beginnings. It was THE phone to have back then due to its amazing features at a very low cost.
Glad you like it. Still enjoying mine. This phone makes it hard to think about jumping back up to flagship priced phones
Did you ever try a Dap player?
Firstly i phones dongle dac sound better than any android. Secondly a main reason you need a dap is power you know … omg , im speechless 😊
Rex, have you lost your mind?
My rooted redmi k20 pro with viperfx and ibasso dac kicks ass of any iphone with a dac.. recently i purchased hiby r4, the complete solution.
What you call your iconss in the oneplus 12? love it
The only reason I have a dap is space - my music collection would take up too much space on my iPhone in lossless format.
I have both and in Aspection of Sound the DAP is a better Choice in my Opinion.........
Dacs are connected through data cables which are less reliable than audio cables. Their construction quality is really poor if you compare them to audio cables. That's why DAPS are better for me at least
and that date can break up with you at any time
@@123benley hahahaha my bad. I meant "data"
Nice review! Ive also had both, the ie600 and Doscinco and ended up selling the ie600. They were more "resolving" but also their treble were clearly boosted which created this high resolving effect. The Doscinco on the oher hand have just the right amount of details and textures. Like everything is well resolved but not artificially analytical. For me this was the only area where i could split hairs which one i prefer. With the rest- the musicality, bass, power, TUNING, overall balance, emotions etc. i easily put the Doscinco higher.
Agreed. This is the most unsung hero in the IEM world that I've come across.
To each their own and i agree with some of your points but many of i don't ! Things i would say 1) The marginal utility you get from spending each more USD is true but it's also upto the person if he/she can afford it or has deep pocket but ya i agree tho. 2) The android version situation is true and many of them aren't even android 12 (kinda latest) apart from some like Hiby R4. Although its a DAP and it does it work but it doesn't mean that the device shouldn't be as snappy as latest phone and future proof regarding performance. Basically mediocre processor are used there. 3) Android phones are faster and dac is good alternative as per users usage but good DAPs doesn't just limit to 3.5 and 4.4 plugs and good DACs they also have plethora of audio features like given in Hiby R4 and depends on person using if he/she needs or not. If i heard it right, android also has restriction on sampling rate. If design is good then yes DAP seems cool to me and i agree on this but if I'm being honest not every DAP catches my attention like if isn't cool or have features i needed. 4) Yes android is faster with better support and overall a better device in most aspects but you're also compromising on comfort by taking your DAC and it's cable out then plugging one after another everytime you want to play a music and moving with it is huge mess. Any movement i make i have this thought in back of my mind oh I'm gonna put pressure on my dac, cable or phone jack/charging port if i sit this way or stand that way or walk a bit faster or walking carelessly. Also the more you use Type C port the vulnerable it becomes to getting damaged. Paranoia hits fr here and its not for paranoid people like me. High chances are that eventually one of any those things will get damaged. Once my DDHifi USB C to 3.5 mm dac got damaged in 2-3 months because i was careless about it being in my pocket and walking around. Here DAP saves at least my phone port and lack of components attached to DAP is less then quantity of each components getting damaged is less. 5) You're kinda right about Hiby R3 II, it provides the good value but Shanling M0 Pro provides the best value for me but the reason i can't go with it is that i don't have any huge audio files library and only few songs are there in my device. So either i have to get an Android DAP or increase my offline songs collection and get the M0 Pro because the thing with Hiby R3 II is that even though it has wifi but the music can be streamed only through Tidal or Quoobuz and i need Apple music or Spotify due to unavailability of those streaming services in my country. At that point i would rather get M0 Pro for 100 USD and build up my offline song collection in someway because Hiby R3 Ii is selling for approx 200 USD in my country so it's better to get R4 by adding 50 USD. 6) It saves both my phone's battery and it's battery life too. The thing i use my phone for the most time is to play music and if i play music less on my phone and more on DAP not only I'm getting better sound quality but also i don't have to charge my phone 2 times a day and if i charge it less then the battery health will also deplete less too due to less charging cycle being completed. 7) Unlike you, I don't want my DAP to have Camera and Mics due to privacy reasons and DAP manufacturers aren't a major phone brand known for it's privacy so a big no for paranoid people like me. Maybe some people have their own usage case. Also most of DAP brands are from China and Chinese devices aren't those who you can trust on and for sure you never know if it has any spyware or not. Sorry for my chinese friends and good felllas, nothing against you and didn't mean to offend you but it is what it is and image is particularly not good in this regard. 8) Having Sim Card in my DAP would be a nightmare for me because first of all i had to buy a separate sim card for it and secondly i have to recharge the sim plans which i wouldn't even use and if i don't recharge then the sim card gets deactivated so why even bother ? Also depending on area people can snatch your DAP or it might get stolen. Then i have to file a complaint in Police station otherwise someone could misuse my sim card and i would be in trouble for nothing then i would need to buy a new sim card if i still want to use it in DAP. My rule is simple in DAP case get it and forget it. I would assume i have given charity to poor guys who wouldn't have bought DAP with their whole life earnings. Anyways nothing harm in having a discussion and looking at things from different perspective. Being right or wrong is not the only option, it also about whats right for you and whats not.
Newbie here...very new. How i got here- i like single player games like NMS, Skyrim/fallout, even ATS. My gf hates me playing the volume loud with my speakers (prolly low grade, nothing special powered speakers). Plus i like to pornify a few games because i am amazed you can. Of course she doesnt want to hear it. So then i started looking into headsets. I found many reviewers saying value for quality audio was better with iems than over ear- you might spend $350 for over the ear for similar quality of a $100 iem. Plus, over the ear better headsets are openback. Thus, i decided to jump into iems. Waiting for pula pa02 and tangzu hbb heydey for iem and fiio ka17 for dac. (I also like for iem not having to buy desktop dac and amp combo to fully power the headset). I wanted to try the different driver types before spending more money. I live 50 miles away from a decent sized town and a little further to even a best buy. So i had to go into this blindly aside from youtube. I mainly use pc but just bought xbox for the new college football game. Music wise i love Grateful Dead, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Metallica, some old school hip hop/rap (80s-90s), and want to start listening to more jazz. All that said, where in the heck should i look for quality audio files for the non Dead music...i am assuming spotify isnt enough quality to get the most out of my setup....or is it? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!
You forgot the hiby m300 that is less than 200 bucks
be careful dunu s&s tips are quite small, largest size didn't seal for me
In my experience in the hobby, it all depends on your way to consume music. For someone that uses mainly streaming, the best option is a good usbc dongle or even a bluetooth dac/amp that can also work as a wired dac If needed (btr15, qudelix 5k, shanling UP5, etc). If the person is a little deeper into music and has their own library of flac files or something like that ( my case), the better option is a mini DAP like the Hiby R3 that you showed, Hidizs AP80 or my favorite the Shanling M0 Pro. Those little guys are like the ipod nanos on steroids, you can use them as a stand alone device that will play your own music out of a sd card without the need of wifi connection, you can use them on bluetooth connected to your phone, computer or even your tv and they also work via cable, they do it all. Now if you are even deeper in this hole and you want a device that has the best soubd quality possible, huge amp power and something that can do it all without the need for your smartphone, only then you should go for a Android Dap. I have a pretty decent one (sound wise) the Tempotec V6, it works great for at home listening sections, it works almost fine on streaming apps but the overall use experience on it is frustrating. You dont feel like you're missing out on sound quality but it actually behaves like a galaxy pocket phone from 2012. To get a really good android DAP you will be paying almost the price of a flagship phone, wich is not worth it for most people. Just get a good small dap or a small bluetooth dac/amp and you're all set
owned a walther pdp myself nice guns
check out cz know for being superb ergos
was choosing between this and a p01. that may be the next pickup
Hey found your channel from my own. I'll give you two subs. I have this my main channel and metalfate0 is my second channel. Good to see your videos. I'll get around to watching alot of your content (firearms)
hey its heir apparent 333 hitting you with that second sub
Thanks brother threw you a sub back! let me know if theres anything in particular you would want to see on the channel!
I do recommend dongles to most people for its usability and value, but having owned Cayin RU7 and N7, I can say N7 is much better on sound quality than RU7. I still think RU7 is a great value and my favorite dongle, but it's not exactly on a comparable level to the DAP. Any Android DAP with a SD665 is fine. Runs Spotify and other streaming apps smoothly, and it's not a bad experience at all.
Why the hell would you want a camera on your DAP? its for playing or streaming your music end of, you might want to put a DAC on it if you want.
You would want a camera on a dap that has a sim tray because you could then theoretically use it as a phone as well, eliminating the need for 2 devices
Then the answer is just use your phone
For me it's because I run an iPhone, and it can't play flac or do eq.
I hear you man, I had an IPhone and elected to get a oneplus so I could use my dongles instead of buying a whole dap
Get a player that runs flac.
SUNDAY bought Fiio M15 S. Its very large. Too bad not displayed otherwise I would wait for new M23. In process of transferring 950 Gb of files from PC. Replaces Fiio M11 as noted below. A higher end Hiby might have been a reasonable choice, but I like to buy in store. Some choices ae left here in NYC. I don't stream; unit is good to connect to a DAC/heaphone amp, or my full size component stereo. I had 46k tracks on Fiiio M11, unusual as it had 2 micro SD slots. Two 428Gb cards in there for years. Could have doubled to larger 1TB cards to hold all future files, but sadly old Fiio M11 case has no bottom. Small bathroom, gripping in my had while standing over the toilet. It slipped in, it is not fully functional after drying.
that would really P ME OFF
I think the biggest reason to buy a digital audio player is micro SD card support since Flagship smartphones no longer have them and there is something to be said for having your music on your local device rather than stream it
The Micro SD slot is a very big point! I hadn’t fully considered that. Thank you for watching!
I'm still new to digital players the first one I had Pioneer XP 300 sounds fantastic I'm looking to upgrade outdated software running slow battery issues so it's time for an upgrade the Hiby R4 looks good and it's right in my price range and yes it does look cool is that a bad thing. The specs on HIBY R4 are just amazing for that price.

Makes video about daps being worth it or not… never actually used one 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ lmao this video is useless for anyone looking for actual information to make a decision.
I went over the scenarios where it would be worth it or not worth it… if you are not sure whether or not you need one, I would just get a dongle. I think it would be very apparent to you if your use cases really call for one. Thanks for watching!
@ToastyTexan911 yeah but that's about as useless as looking at specs online. Your video has no unique content value as far as information is concerned. An opinion on a product you've never actually used is useless. It's like leaving a review on a product you never bought but for some reason have strong irrelevant opinions on. Most of the people who agree with you already did and your video didn't effect anyone because it had no useful information to do so. As someone who's looking into the potential of getting a dap I've been watching videos and yours has no factual information just opinions based on your personal feelings about the devices. Just saying you could do better 🤷🤷
@ToastyTexan911 also nobody wants a camera on them lmao or the newest version of android and the purpose isn't so you have a device with no notifications. If you want the best quality audio it's best to have the actual on board files and those files take up space as well as require a quality decoder and Amp. A dap bundles that all together. Phones are good at alot of things but rarely the best at anything. Just not what they're made for. Also you don't wanna take up your entire phone with your music library. Phones are fine for casual music listeners who don't care about high quality and are fine just streaming but not really anything more than that.
Sliivo SL41 and the CKLVX have this kind of cable and they are awesome! You might be able to buy them separated the cost is 20-25. There is also the moondrop MC2 who has similar braid but it has a mic included. The price is around 30.

Absolutely! The key feature of such a phone is streaming on the go. Too bad LG stopped making and perfecting their smartphones! They could easily own very large portion of a DAC and portable DAC/AMP market!
LG V60 all the way. Cheaper than most DAPS or even DACS. Better processing power. QUAD DAC. 3.5mm port. USB C. Faster charging. larger screen and it's a phone too.
Good Point!
Having at least ONE for Having stand-alone music to conserve phone battery is extremely versatile. Aside from that i prefer portable DACs for long term listening sessions
Lol why did you compare the ziigat to the 100 dollar less nova ? doing that tells you nothing , if compare it should be same class and some 100 dollar more than ziigat , this will show how good is it , but comparing to a less of a price doesn't give it credit .lol
That comparison shows you what you are actually getting when you step up in price…. Also the nova is a set I have experience with. Thanks for watching
@@ToastyTexan911 so u saying it's worth the lower price class and not what it's priced at.
@@Angel-AbC9No, not sure how you got that from what I said in the video… I personally prefer them to the nova. They are similar to the Nova as a BA and DD hybrid but overall different tuning presentations. They are well worth the retail price and have seen them on sale recently as well. Technicalities are as good if not better (leaning strongly towards better overall) than the nova and the tuning is better to me. If you like Harman go for the nova.
