It's a matter of great pride and glory for us that intellectuals like Dr. Prabhakar is there among us to fight for the Democracy and Secularism of the country, when these two are in danger.

Mr. Manbir has raised a very interesting and pertinent point. I feel that after some time, there will be some significant realignment in the INDIA Bloc. Ultimately, all the genuinely secular parties, and every constituent of INDIA Bloc today is not truly secular, will veer round and weld together against the BJP and other communal outfits.

This time, the enlightened Indian voter (except the dyed-in-the-wool Andhabhaktas and the Hindi-Hindu-BJP proponents) and true Hindus proved to be David who vanquished Goliath.

This time, these shameless persons will not do brazen horse (or donkey!) trading or armtwisting. Their Chanakya will prowl in patience and engineer floor crossing very subtly. Not because they are now soaked with pious intentions, but because they know that the Indian voters have almost rejected them and would be up in arms the moment Modi+ Shah start their dirty tricks.

It's not civil society, but opposition did great job. You should not snatch their credit.

The problem with blind fanboys and rabid haters of Modi is that both these groups of people believe that Modi = India. For Modi fanboys, criticizing or questioning Modi amounts to insulting India or committing sedition. And for rabid Modi haters, demeaning India and spreading disinformation about the country is actually their constructive critique of Modi. Both these groups of people are equally dangerous for the mindset of the Indian society and should both be stripped of any privileges extended to them. Until this government is in power, the Modi fanboys group won't be brought to task, but that does not mean that the rabid Modi haters are also spared. The Modi fanboys can always be targetted by some future administration but until then the Modi haters should be made to fall in line. Therefore, I am fully in support of the Government of India stripping this so-called professor of his OCI privilege and restricting his social media propaganda channels.
