Thank you so much!!!
❤❤❤
I love this one
Thank you so much I appreciate the feedback. I’m trying different things…to grow and develop as an artist

Hi can I ask some questions? i’ve heard that kh930 is not good for img2track cuz of data limitations but ur works r so great and that machine is enough to make patterns sooo btw I already bought this machine and I wanna ask it would be a great decision. I want to make a lot of knitting fabric using img2track. Thank u!
Hello, Yes the 930 works beautifully. I’ve also used the program with 2 930’s at the Chicago Public Library and they didn’t have a problem either. Congrats on the new-to-you machine💓
I love your color use and shading style so much ❤❤
Thank you!
So talented ❤
Thank you so much! I love drawing and art so much it’s my passion.
what a blessingggg!! i would flip if i found a free knitting machine lol. i love how you narrate the video, and i appreciate that you tell stories. its super entertaining, and also helpful :)
Thank you so much I love what I do so much I’m happy to hear that may have translated through💕😊
Wow your work is amazing!!
Thank you so much!
This is amazing I really like the drawing!❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😀I love drawing so much!
I have been given my dad's Brother KH930 I'm hoping to one day achieve something awesome
4:22 is that a skipped stitch on the foundation row? Or is it just tangled over a little? It's bothering me lol. (left hand side). Love your machine; what a treasure find!! You are so talented, fantastic works.
Hello, Thank you so much! It’s a type of cast on for machine knitting (every other needle cast-on or utility cast on) It’s not as pretty as an e-wrap cast on but it’s fast and efficient and since I’m creating artwork on a function garment this works perfectly. Thanks again!
Here's a video that mentions the weave master: ruclips.net/video/NzzNEUPwi7Q/видео.htmlsi=f7l-D3zTJWfgWycC
Cool Drawing!👍
Thank you so much 😀
Someone my father knows acquired lots of yarn, fabric, & one of multiple knitting machines. She asked if I wanted it. It’s a 1962 Brother. I can’t wait to learn how to put it together and use it.
That’s going to be sooo fun! Congrats!
Omg so underrated!!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I looooove drawing. Truly my passion. Thanks for the kind words
hello faith just a question to prevent drop stitches on both beds what do you recommend me?
That’s sweet! Need an update on it!
Thank you I’m going to put together a longer video soon with more details. It was so fun!!!
advices to don’t get dropped stitches please ):
Hello! Sorry you’re getting dropped stitches. There’s a few reasons why this might be happening depending on the project etc… but the most common I’ve found is not enough weight on the cast on comb.
Thank you so much, this video helped me a lot! ❤
Thanks so happy it helped!
You're so talented, love it 👏❤
Thank you so much! I love drawing soo much💓
@@DartilyArtStudio Same!!! ❤🎨
your videos are so underrated!!!
😊 Thank you!
You’re good at drawing!❤❤😊😊
Thank you so much 😀
hi! i could select the neddles that i want? or i need to choose the width before to open the program thats my doubt
Hello! Using Img2track. You select the number of needles in the program after you cast on the machine. However, I usually look at the image in Img2track and select how many needles wide makes the image look best before I cast on. Then I shut down Img2track, cast on, turn on the knitting machine, then reopen Img2track to start knitting. Please let me know if you have further questions.
@@DartilyArtStudio and… i count the width for example it says 60 needles of width in img2track so i count on my machine 30 needles in yellow and 30 in green?
could you make a video of img2track explained with your voice? i’m in the process to learning this program
Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I will put that together!
@@DartilyArtStudio btw if i use more than 2 colors with color changer i need to put that on the program computer on the machine? or only on img2track
@@rivii2577 hello! Only on Img 2 track. I use up to 6 colors of yarn with a color changer it works great! I will say though that I work with 6 colors on IMG2 track on the 930 with the ribber and I use double bed jacquard technique. It results in a clean back to the piece ( no floats) Let me know if you wanna go there and I’ll share some info because it’s pretty complicated to figure out… not complicated once you know what to do.
hi!
Great video. NIce and clear, well edited. We machine knitters are anxious to get back to our knitting so we appreciate the sped up knitting part since we already know how to do that. Thank you.

Wow! I admire your talent ❤
Thank you so much! Really just lots of work and observation. 😊
I just found a mint, never been used, in the box one on Facebook Marketplace for $100. Darn skippy I snapped that up. Haven't set it up yet, but as soon as I finish my spring cleaning, it will be my new obsession! I'm a crocheter, not a knitter, but I'm looking forward to spreading my wings.
Whoa, That’s a fantastic deal. These machines are the best! Let me know if you have any questions. Congrats!!!
Maybe you can help me with a question I can't seem to find an answer to. I would love to know if these machines are capable of doing a Jersey Knit or using fiber other yarn? I would love a way to do a linen or wool Jersey Knit fabric panels that have a smaller/tighter weave. My goal is to make a natural stretch fabric from the linen to wear in base layer garments under the stretch wool garments. Jersey Knit linen and wool fabric is prohibitively expensive and so are the commercial knitting machines!
Hello! Thanks for the question. This is whats called a standard gauge 4.5 machine. It can knit yarn weights 0 (lace weight) up to 2 (sport weight). The center knob on the carriage controls tension and can create a tighter or looser knit fabric. I don’t currently have any lace weight yarn to experiment with otherwise I’d test it for you. You can use different fibers in the machine but you’d want to avoid any super fluffy or extra ridged yarn (like a wire or plastic for example) because there’s a lot of moving parts in the machine and they will jam up the machine. Linen should be o.k. Though
My father had one. I remember it when I was 10 years old.
That’s so awesome! I love these machines so much!
What do you set that old machine on for picture knitting thanks
Sorry for my late response. I push in the two “part” buttons on the carriage.
Which side do you put your colour wool for picture knitting because your to fast but very good thanks
Hello! Each color I work with will pass across the bed 1 time. So when I start I alternate which side of the bed each color will be. So for example I’ll put my first color on the left my second color on the right etc.. When I start knitting I’ll pick up color 1 from the left move it across the bed then park color 1 on the right and feed color 2 into the carriage. Please let me know if you need any further explanation.
What program are you using?
Hello! Thanks! I’m using Procreate on an ipad air
Hi I want to know how the machine reads the pattern do you draw them or what
Hello! Thank you! The program I use is IMG2Ttack and it takes any jpg and turns it into a knitting pattern for you. The image doesn't need to be B&W. If you've selected "2 colors" in the software it will automatically create a B&W knitting pattern. Please let me know if you have further questions.
The knit pieces turned out so cool. Would love to see how you turned them into tote bags. ❤
Thank you! Awesome I'll put that video together very soon 😊
I have this machine but haven’t used it for at least 20 years! I don’t think I will be re starting as I don’t think I can afford the yarn, etc. I really enjoyed it tho. If you are anywhere St Louis MO I have a bunch of stuff I could give you - I think I have 3 machines, metal stands and extras!
I’m located in Chicago. Yes, I’m very interested please email me with more details faith@dartily.com
Thanks for the video. What size iPad do you use? And why? I am new to drawing and got the mini 6. I think I need a drawing board for my wrist. But don’t know if I should switch to a bigger iPad as well? Thanks 😊
Hello! Congrats I’ve considered the iPad mini I love that it works with the Apple Pencil. I have the 10.5” iPad Air 4. I like the smaller size because it’s easier for me to carry with me to draw. Plus with Procreate it’s so easy to zoom in and out while you draw so I find it works for me. When I used traditional materials my most common size was 18” x 24” . Happy to hear this was helpful for you. The drawing board has been so helpful for me to secure my ipad to an easel and have space for my hand to rest while I work.
How are you sending the files/lines to the machine? Are you using AYAB?
Hello I’m using IMG2Track. the files are just JPGs.
Felicitaciones
Hi ik you don’t know me but I’d appreciate it if you could help me get my knitting machine running. I bought it from this girl. It was working at her house. Then when I got to my house it wouldn’t work so I replaced the sponge bar & needles but it’s still not working
What model is it? Double or single bed?
@@DartilyArtStudioit’s single. She said to download the manual for KnitKing KK91 or Brother KH991 or KH881. But when I looked at the manual, it doesn’t look exactly like the one I bought from her

Is it img2track?
Yup it’s IMG2track. Love that app! Do you use it?
This is truly amazing artwork!! Wow! You are so amazingly talented! ❤
Wow thanks so much! You made my day 🤗

That would be amazing please share with me what you make. I’d love to see it!
That’s actually a great idea.
Thanks I’m so excited about it. It now looks as fun as it is to use! No more sad beige.
very nice
Thank you so much! I had such a great time making it!
So cool to actually see you using the knitting machine to create a piece.
Thank you so much! I really enjoy seeing the creative process so I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it as well! Thank you!
I love your machine's skin, so cool ⚡ love your work💌
Thank you so much! It was made in the 80’s so I went with that theme. I just couldn’t stand that boring yellowing beige anymore…it made something so fun look so sad.
