Seahawks Man 2 Man: Emotions Over Execution
The "sorry 12s" took me out😂😂😂😂😂
Bring back Waldron.
Vikings fan, loved the pod!
it seemed to me like Grubb 'bought in' to the improved o-line play in the Arizona game and just said fuck it go ball against what was seemingly a similar d-line. Gave them no help and completely scrapped the quick pass game that helped them so much against AZ. every week it feels more and more like he doesn't know what's going on
If we are 4-2 in division and 1-1 with Rams how are we behind them if all sq in w/l column? Love the show guys
Assuming rams beat the cardinals, both teams will have gone 4-2 in division, as well as conference record. This means they will go to strength of schedule tie breaker, which the Seahawks wont have unless they win Sunday
Let’s go great way to start the day!
A little late but that L hurt me! Love the show
because of how tight his coverage is, woolen is consistently getting interfered with by recievers, very frustrating
despite the defence struggles i think coby bryant was the best defender in the first half and he continues to impress me, I think he keeps his job next year
I like Grubb, think he needs a 2nd season, I feel like he does better 2nd look at a team, (small sample size). I also think there has been enough this season for confidence next season, we have stopped the run frequently this season which we could not do this year, there have been games where Geno uses the short passing game with huge success, the problem on offense is, I think you said it Mike, over confidence or stubbornness, play what works (the defense gives you). Need to play better teams more often, it has been a very easy schedule and then wham we play a decent team.
maybe, but Waldron's 1st year was better than grubs' has he shown us anything (other than personality) that gives us any reason to believe he will be a better coordinator than Waldron? I don't think so
Brutal loss after flying high, hopefully can learn from it and move forward.
25:02 YES. ABSOLUTELY THIS. Geno is a much better quarterback than this dumb ass fandom gives him credit for, and last night proved it.
Love the breakdowns can’t wait for the next one!
You all didn't bring up the fact that the Rams got smashed by the Eagles?
Good video
DK is just a problem for other teams. That dude is so willing to many of the little things that makes the team better.
Love the breakdowns. Yall are great. Let's keep this thing rolling. Go hawks! Also, I think DK has added more discipline and poise to his game this year. He still plays with an edge and will have outbursts here and there, but it seems like it's much less of an issue this year. He's impressed me. Glad he's on our team. Cheers you guys!
To Mike's point, about the "DK coverage" is why I've been saying to any other 12 that will listen, I really would appreciate another (Downfeild speed WR) He can be limited, but just a guy you must respect for straight line speed.. That way DK, and JSN can really dominate imo
Not sure the video conclusion has aged very well.
Just because Mike Mac isn’t an extrovert doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a personality. Being reserved is better than being a pathological narcissist.
I really think Seahawks can take the Packers. Packers beat lot of scrub teams Jags, Titans, Colts, Bears, Dolphins, 49ers, Rams, Cardinals. only teams that they beat that was somewhat good is the Rams and 49ers. I think it will be a good game but Seattle will come out on top.
I find myself wondering about the old question of, 'when do you open up the playbook?'. I do indeed wonder if the hawks have been keeping the offensive playbook at arms length, going as far as they felt they could with doing the expected; the expected being UW ball. Does anyone suspect this? The counter run worked the 1st time, 2nd time, 3rd time .... maybe they didn't feel they needed to open it up any further than that and there's more. I do remember some earlier games with creative TE pulls that read pass but were applied to a run. I'm just wondering if the hawks perhaps felt it was worth risking some L's to keep their playbook obscure until it was crunch time, which it now most certainly is.
Thanks boys! Great show
Appreciate the love!
Let’s keep it rolling!
Just read Mike's article about the OL. That brought me HERE. Subscribed baby. Go Hawks😊
What was that Montlake diss? Budda went to Bellevue?
Nvm I remember you’re a coug and Budda went to UW 😂 stay salty! Go Dawgs
@@millermuze Lmao hahaha!
Grubb really needed this one! We were overdue to have some big plays on the ground! And I think Brady Russell is going to make some plays in these last four games!
Thanks Mike and Chris for saving the Seahawks offense ❤😂
We try, we try lol!
Rather have boring interviews but with guys locked in and playing at a high level any day of the week
Question for Mike and Chris. I know this sounds crazy, but do you think someone made some sort of accident when they drafted both Auburn CBs? I thought it was super weird in real time during the draft. Then, they cut D.J. James before the season which made it even more strange. Or perhaps this just the earliest example of Mike Mcdonald not being afraid to move on from players who are not performing.
I’m not Mike and Chris but that doesn’t seem like an accident to me. That would be pretty incompetent lol. Think DJ just wasn’t as good as they thought
Yeah they dropped the ball there but D.J. James was a long shot as a 6th round pick to make the roster. It’s a miss, but nothing too bad. -Kidd
Good show bro
Pete got soft (kinder) in his later years and wasn't as aggressive nor ruthless as he was when he took over.
Great way to start the Monday!
The way you fix that (fantasy football League) ppl tanking thing... Have your League Manager set the last week of the schedule ( Flex 1spot vs. 2 spot..3 spot vs. 4 sport.. 5 vs 6, and so on) It's essentially like a "play in" week. So the teams who don't have any fight/pride left, they won't matter
An essential listen on Victory Monday
Yo. I lived in Tucson a lot of years. It gets cold at night, my guy. Don't sleep.
Re Gipson, the “G” could be hard or soft. It’s not an automatic hard as in “Gibson”. Witherspoon’s first is pronounced like the county in England. It’s odd to American ears, but not idiosyncratic.
I think we've seen the last W for the season, folks. They're heading into the teeth of the schedule and the offense is regressing fast. Grubb has shown that no matter what, he can't help his team move the ball in short yardage scenarios. Sure, literally no one on the line can block or push, but c'mon man. Half a fucking yard in 8 tries? What the cartwheeling fuck.
Came here from the Blue Sky link!
Let’s go!
I don’t watch nobody that is on blue sky time to block.
Good riddance 😂 ✌️
Aw, someone's triggered.
Bye ✌🏼
❄️
Oh no, another MAGA snowflake?
I can see j. Love coaching some day. Exudes intelligence and leadership
Love your guys show it was great love to here you guys talk about Matt vs geno or lunch vs walker and who you’d rather take on an off day
The 'loo' discussion lol. In UK it's also colloquially called The John after the inventor of it.
Love the pod!
If we fix this offense we gone be a problem fr!
Great as always! If you are interested in a deeper dive on special teams, you could do worse than bringing Bryan Walters onto M2M. He was a member of the Seahawks’ great special team of 2013-14 and does commentary for Seattle Sports radio.
Harbaugh's worst problem for me is sticking with Dee Williams
love chris's commentary but can we get some better jerseys in the background for the SEAHAWKS pod?!?! Hmm!?!
Let's Go! The best podcast to start the day!
Less porn bots!? Big L. Jk
Lmao -Kidd
