That's a nice truck. My first truck was the 2007 Chevy Silverado classic. Work truck trim. Regular cab 4.3. 8 foot bed. 2 will drive. With locking diff. It was automatic. But my color of the truck was the same as the one on the video. They are nice trucks. I would love to have another one.

Yes, I just used a 2.5 inch rubber pvc cap

Awesome! It’s all a super easy install, the only tip I have it, I would buy some grease and just put a little around each seal where parts meets, just to make sure they seal 100%
Part numbers
Engine intake duct, Part 5451473 Clutch intake duct, Part 5451474 Clutch Exhaust duct, Part5451475 x3 Inlet Hose, Part 5415215 x3 Inlet hose bottom cover, Part 5451617-070 x3 Black top intel hose cover, Part 5451616-070 Plastic Cover, Rear Rop, Left, Part 5451622-070 Clutch Hose, air outlet, Part 5415126 There are also different colors for the top caps instead of the black I went with. Such as Red, yellow, grey, blue, and orange. They are different part numbers, if you want another color than black, I can get you the part number for the color as well. This part list doesn't include the hose clamps, from Polaris the hose clamps are $10 each, you can go and get some from home depot for about $2. You will need about 8 hose clamps. You will also need 14 screws the mount the snorkel caps. From Polaris they are about $3 each, Im sure you can go and get a box of 1 1/4 inch screws from any store for much cheaper. I also did not incude the intake caps that have the holes pre cut for the snorkels. I can also get the part number for that. If you would like them, instead of cutting the holes. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
I’m on the fence of the 3500 vs 5000. Have you used it and is it still holding up. Lots of people dogging the 3500 saying it isn’t powerful enough. I only have a 570
I haven’t had an issue with it not having enough power. I’ve been in some pretty nasty spots. It’s also held up pretty well. No complaints. If you want to go with a 5000 it wouldn’t hurt anything. But I also can’t imagine a sportsman 570 needing a 5000 pound winch. Lol.

Damn, glad it survived though. Looks like the suspension just rebounded rather quick and popped it up after the ledge hit.
Yeah it was 100% my fault. I hit it with way too much speed. I am lucky that no suspension parts took a hit.
@@BDUBSOFFROAD I had a close call there on the North Pole at Hidden Falls. Washed out pretty bad and tipped in drivers-side, almost flipped it but gassed it and recovered. There is some hairy stuff there for sure.

what would you have to replace in a Chevy 1500 z71 if the chime only goes off when the door is open, and when the key is in the ignition(I need to know what to replace cause in my cousins 03 LS z71 the door chime doesn’t go off when the key is on, or when the truck turns over(a typical Chevy has all those chimes usually working(door open, key in ignition, key on, start) it is gonna drive me insane if I don’t figure it out)
To be honest man. I wouldn’t have a clue on how to fix that. Never had or really heard of that problem. I wish you luck on figuring it out!

Hows it holding up? Hows the sound when driving?
It’s held up great so far. Through mud, water, and sand. No issues. The volume isn’t gonna win any stereo contest, but still plenty loud even at high speeds, and good audio quality.

@@Blackcateye04 Yeah, that's weird, mine actually even had a bit of a squat to it, not a lot, probably about an inch, but I really couldn't do anything about it, the keys were pretty much already as low as they could go.

Man I really appreciate it and the video! Wish I would have seen this before ordering the snorkel kit I have now as the exhaust keep deforming the pipe even tho I have it all heat wrapped. If you can shoot me the part number for the grey tops please.

yes, I did the the hyper flash, but I went straight to auto zone because it was annoying to me, and bought the relay to the turn signals for LED bulbs. also I got the bulbs from amazon

I’ve got almost an identical cat eye. 06 black crew cab z71 but with leather interior and sunroof heated seats everything. I held off on lifting for now since work slowed down bc it’s winter. But if I go 6 inch 33 tires will probably be the same nitto ones you have or the toyo r/t will I rub with no spacers? I really don’t want to rub and deal with trimming.
Yeah man, I honestly loved this truck, and the nitto ridge grapplers are amazing, I liked them so much on that truck, I bought them again for my new truck. That generation Chevy trucks are hands down my favorite. As for the rubbing if you ran 33s. I can’t imagine you will rub if your running a 6 inch lift with no spacers. THe set up on that truck was a 6 inch lift, with 2 inch spacers with -44 offset rims. And they just barley rubbed. So if your not going to run spacers. I doubt they will rub. K&N Chrome Open Air Filter would spiff up look under the hood.. Or just go with Air intake... Open Air Filter on a Throttle Body does look tuff though

Morimoto released *led* TAG LIGHT assemblies (gloss black housing) for like $30 from Headlight Revolution. They look the same as the cheap made in China one's from Ebay.. BUT LOOK 10X BETTER SHAPE WISE AND PAINT GLOSS WISE. The LED's are INSANE brightness level... I love them on my 06 Dura
