    Hello sir, Why don't we use the flexural formula (equation of bending) to determine the stresses in bolts in such a case ?

      Elastic method is more conservative in some cases, especially more bolts are in-lined or close to centroid of bolt group, then they're almost give no help

    I got the value of sf' as 461N/mm2. I have considered the same formula as in the video y2=2.7536 y1=2.4983, x2=6, x1=3, x=4.9542 and if I substitute the values I get sf'=461.23N/mm2
