1:36 that finger tension tells a lot, F is a very hard chord on itself but the minor version makes it like 2x harder just by having to barre the G string as well

Brett pretty much did the same thing for me back when we were in middle school. Brett was already light years ahead so we all wanted to learn from him. Pay attention and you will learn a lot or learn enough to start taking it in your own direction. The basics are very important to grow as a guitarist in your own right. Having a guitar with lower action may also help you in your journey.

Amazing lesson, I'm so glad I found your channel!!! I love the detail in the tips, proper hand placement & position, the proper sound we should hear. The pace is fabulous for beginners, giving us time to see exactly what you are doing & to play along. The exercises at the end are great & I plan on using these every day as part of my practice because as a new player, I find my fingers & wrist cramp easily so I expect that these will help a lot.
