People sayin that it took only 3 days for hiccup to defeat grimmel. So he ain't that good. But they miss the point that it also took grimmel 3 days to capture toothless and all the dragons and give them( toothless and hiccup) a near death experience.
Honestly, i can't see how one** man single handedly killed a whole spieces. Especially with how smart and intelligent Toothless is. I dunno, how could a species like nightfurys not puck up on things. The only way I see it is grimmel went to the nests and broke all the unhatched eggs, but that would still take a whole bunch of time. I don't know about you all, I just felt utterly betrayed when the whole quest for (at least Hiccup that I know of) the past 2 movies plus season was finding other nightfurys or something. Honestly, i still think there are nightfurys. Dreamworks just wanted to end the whole shabang by doing the whole "Syc! Your thought!" Type thing. I dont know what their motive is. I just can't with Grimmel. He felt a little to OP for my liking in this farnchize. Cause again With how intelligent Toothless is I am pretty sure they wouldpit two and two together and retreated back to the hidden world or something.
