I've thought about doing the Camino. One of my ancestors did it and there are shell motifs on our ancestral home to show that he did. That was a custom in Italy hundreds of years ago. It was probably my collateral "uncle" in around 1640-ish who was an Apostolic Protonotary. But I'm old and have congenitally bad feet. I actually had the thought that if I did it, my feet would no longer hurt and give me problems. Even tho I walk a lot, I have a lot of difficulty now because my feet are starting to give out. I am thinking I will start at the city entrance and walk the last couple of kilometers to the Cathedral. Would this be enough?

Bless them in your kindness and mercy. Father, we pray for all those who are struggling with sickness, financial problems, and other sufferings. Be merciful to them and help them in their needs. God, we pray that all families may give the first place to Jesus in their hearts and thus become your witnesses.
