This was done with thprac, with rank at 32 and rank lock being enabled.
Cirno's first nonspell is scary if you let it spiral out of control, so I chose MarisaA for easier misdirection and to finish it quickly. The first spellcard isn't too dense and is pretty simple, but the second nonspell is confusing in how Cirno moves.
I apologize for not knowing enough about the game, but I don't know whether it's random or a consistent element, however, while there are some cases where it's best to just keep following her, it can often lead to getting cornered. It's best to avoid that, and because of this, switching lanes is important.

This fight can be rather difficult. Started with no subweapons, subweapons only used during the boss. The showing off I do at the beginning is completely unnecessary and, while consistent, decently risky. In the first vertical section, the crows can be dealt with relatively consistently to my knowledge, so misdirecting the first one at the start by going to the left should always work, and so should baiting the next one - however...

Maybe I'll leave a more detailed comment later. Anyway, while X6 can be enjoyable and I'll definitely take that game over X5, it's so... inconsistent. Most of the boss fights are a joke, even your default buster slices through them (there are some exceptions). A lot of the times the difficulty comes from how unpolished the game is. Well, if you take this game for what it is...the part system is fun and becoming stronger through upgrades is rewarding.

I feel like people thought it's boring to play without abusing nova strike. I usually love to not abuse something broken and challenge myself using ultimate armor which i modify by using megaman x6 tweaks patcher. I made nova strike always get blocked or always deal 0 point of damage.
Huh. Idk if it's just me but that health is quite low like commander yammark. I don't think X5 have that health low but not much to say about X6 tbh. I somehow feels like the difficulty get clogged out as soon you collect the whole upgrades, With parts slot expanded and you can get them all(?), The Iconic Broken X6 Zero(which if you fix it, you ruined it). That's when i feel, Huh X5 Zero stage is much cheap than X6 Gate Stage.

So what’s with guard shell being incapable of blocking a basic nightmare virus bullet.
Honestly, no idea... it seems to be a different type of bullet from those that get blocked by Guard Shell (and things similar to it, like the enemies Nightmare Insect spawns), but it can be blocked by Hyperdrive, so I don't know why Guard Shell can't do it. Might be an intentional balance measure, since the same restriction applies to Shot Eraser? (even if an odd one). They might have also wanted to avoid odd scenarios like Shot Eraser affecting X (boss)'s charge shots in X5 and spawning broken Lifesaver objects entirely in X6.
@@marx4538 oh. (I’ve also noticed that shot eraser does not block the nightmare projectiles) How does Hyperdrive work? In my time playing X6 on the legacy collection, the Hyperdrive doesn’t amplify defense in any amount. I have seen it working in your videos however.
@@mrme.484 Hyperdrive amplifying defense is, to my knowledge, a mistranslation (or the original description was too vague in the first place, I don't know) - what it does is give you temporary invincibility to most projectile attacks in the game, if not all. I haven't tested it on everything, but it, for example, grants invincibility to any of Nightmare Mother's projectile attacks, including the thunder, aimed shots and water shots, and also to things like Hell Sigma's lasers.

At least X4 was very good in terms of presentation. Until X5 dropped in Quality such as the Cutscenes looking like they were made in Microsoft PowerPoint, there’s no animation & less soul in them.
Ehh, I do agree that X5 is incredibly budget, but I think X6 improves in that and I heavily prefer those games' art direction, both for ingame spritework/renders and the cutscene illustrations. Most of this applies to X6 more though, as the lack of voice acting and even a lack of proper illustrations in X5's scenes, or the way some stages and most bosses look in that game...

If you mean how you want to play if doing a run, I mean, it's up to you. But if you're talking about what the game itself allows, you have to do the whole stage in one go as you can't save in-between segments with the in-game save feature.

If you charge Axl's secondary shot without having a weapon equipped, you'll be able to fire the copy shot - defeating an enemy with the copy shot will drop an item that will either give you a temporary boost in certain properties (damage, speed, etc) or, in case of certain enemies like the flying ones in Hyenard's stage, temporarily transform into the enemy and use it's abilities.

To my knowledge, it's determined randomly, though it's best to be "rhythmic" in your shots and not spam damage too often, as sometimes you can interrupt him and make him do the tail attack by damaging him.

It's not really a "forgot", more-so that X6's Falcon Armor had a diagonal air-dash in development, but was cut later on. This is what the hack restores, as it functions differently from the X5 flight ability.

Eh, I also have less interest in the Zero series, though I still like it. I'd say Octopus is harder under those limitations, though, as he's far less consistent.
