This is the second video in a series that instructs on the process of diagnosing a random vehicle noise. The subject vehicle is a 2007 BMW X3 but the noise fault is applicable to any year, make or model.
This video demonstrates the removal of the brake caliper assembly. A correction: I mis-identified the caliper as being a two-piston design before removing it. Obviously it is a single-piston caliper.

This video instructs the basic function of a 2-stroke engine. The diagram shows a configuration that would suit a string trimmer or chain saw. Snowmobiles and other powersports equipment would have the carburetor and intake entering the side of the crankcase instead of the end. The theory of how it works remains the same.
