Currently immersing myself in reading and prepping the campaign and really enjoying these breakdowns. Thanks to Vince for alerting me to them via Discord. All of it inspiring me towards some ideas for set-ups / possible payoffs to further mess with my players. One question for now: Vince mentioned using 'The Caretaker' as musical background / atmosphere setting for the initial encounter in The Night Floors - just wondering if there's any more recommends ?

Thanks for the tips it really helps, preparing such a campaign feel like preparing a climb on the Everest.

love vince, glad he's making stuff with yall. also re: getting the players to go in the house, there's a really clever mechanic in the module that prompts that. as written, the module is bottlenecked through getting the players to the antiques dealer to find the furniture, and the only way to learn that furniture's important is to complete the primary tasks and ask the handler for ideas. the point is to use boredom to get the players in the house. the antiques dealer takes a few days per furniture item, which means ~9 days sitting around doing nothing. every Agent i've met would say "well we can't just do nothing. let's get in that house"

Where's the rest?!?! This series has been sooo helpful! I'm currently running IL (players are in the Macallistar building at night for the first time and haven't even seen the night floors yet) and not only am I handling five players but this is all of our first time playing DG. Everyone is loving it and I'm totally swimming in the chaos of constant improv. We're definitely a ways away from Act III but I hope you will continue the series. Totally subbed, and thanks for the great content!

Another great episode (of this and the AP). The point about the damn, yes totally. I've done that before and players will ignore something or not pick up on it unless you make a big deal about it. Either putting a reason for them to go there or something really ominous that points to it (maybe lightning constantly hitting it?) or someone bringing up the dam MULTIPLE times may work. I've thought that if I ran this one, the thing I'd like to do most is to bring in a second kid that's a duplicate of the first.
