Hi guys, thanks for checking out my channel. I am an enthusiastic fisherman from Rhode Island. From mid April through mid December I mostly fish in my small boat and sometimes on one of my friends boat. I also do a few offshore trips to Block Island or Jeffery’s Ledge in the winter on a party boat. I will be posting a lot of videos so please subscribe if you like what you see.
Fishing with Moises in southern Rode Island. Catch and cook jumbo dogfish!
Good to fish with Moises again. Huge dogfish, some of the biggest ones I have ever seen, a few trigger fish, blackfish, scup, and short black sea bass and fluke. After bleeding the dogfish, I removed the heads and guts and put them in the ice slurry with the other fish. At the end of the day, I cleaned the dogfish, lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, and grilled it. What a wonderful dinner!

Enjoy your videos. Great job catching all types of fish. How long do you leave your crab traps in before pulling them. That’s a lot of crabs Good job
@@WhitePerch In this spot, it takes a little while in the beginning but when the mass moves in attracted by the bait I pull the net every 5 to 10 minutes until I get what I need.

These are not uncommon there called dog fish/shark

@@fsatv.7402 2-4 feet. It’s no easy to see and net them in more than 4 feet. But it is a lot of fun. The smart ones will run or zigzag and make mud clouds or hide in the weeds. The bigger males tend to want to fight

I've never seen anybody pole skiff and scoop up crabs before that's crazy. Is that Narrow River?

I've never seen anybody use dogfish for bait before. Obviously it works. Do the dog fish eat their own? Or does it help keep them away?
