San Francisco/Oakland A's Trip (Sep 2024)
After the news of the Oakland Athletics leaving Oakland came out last year, I always kept in the back of my mind that I wanted to visit them before they left. With my dream of visiting of every MLB stadium, I decided I would regret never visiting The Coliseum before the team moved. On a whim, I decided to fly to San Francisco for the day, make a day of it, and then see the final Satuday night A's game in Oakland. It was a quick but memorable trip that allowed me to experience a lot that San Francisco has to offer!

One of the best things I have ever done. Was a blast to be able to drive a dream car I have only wheeled around in video games in real life at New Jersey Motorsports Park. A great day and definitely want to do it again. Thank you to my family for a wonderful birthday present.

My grandfather had a TORO 22" Recycler for a good bit of years before he wanted to get a new one. We sold the TORO and he bought a DeWALT 21". Same engine as the last mower but certainly uses cheaper parts compared to the TORO in my opinion. Still, not a bad mower. Performed well and I am sure it will last. Just not sure if it is worth the $499 price tag.

The Blue Rocks (High A-affiliate of the Washington Nationals) played against the Brooklyn Cyclones (High A-affiliate of the New York Mets). It was their 2024 MiLB season opener at Frawley Stadium at the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE. Was a great game but very chilly! The Blue Rocks won with a home run and some great plays. Hope to make many more!

I had one of these in the shop today for a self propelled issue. Cheap,plastic tranny has a bracket that keeps the belt on but also is a means to hold the drive cable. Screws came out holding the bracket so when you activated the drive it wouldn’t tighten the belt. Typical MTD garbage.
@@shoptalkwithbrett6572 what exactly is MTD? A company? I don’t know too much into it. Just finished the last cut of the season and still serving me well
MTD is who actually manufactured the mower. They make mowers for Troy built, cub cadet and various other big box store machines. Craftsman is now made by MTD and those are sold at Lowe’s.
In my opinion the SEL is the best trim level. My only gripe is lack of leather wrapped steering wheel.
Had this mower 4 months now and while cutting, the self propelled went out so I had to finishing by manually pushing, and then now it won't crank next time I went to cut the grass. Dewalt needs to stick to tools. Never had a lawnmower crap out in 4 months

Only issue I seem to have is when I use the mulching option it seems to stop working after a while and just grass builds up inside. Any tips?
@@goingfatherhood2420 is the grass wet? Perhaps you are cutting too low? That’s interesting
@@brendenberg6684 perhaps, usually cut it before I water the yard but do have it on a low cut. Will readjust the length for the next cut.
The only issue I have with mine is the bag falls off constantly when its empty until half way full.

These 2nd gen Tundras are known to reach a million miles.
It was about 10 minutes in that I realized I have never once hosed a lawn mower off after running it. Wondering if that's why I'm looking for a new one...
@@MadLadUSA I think it’s a good idea. Maybe not that exterior but it’s definitely wise to clean out where the blade is. In my opinion you want a clean radius for the blade, as well as a clean blade too. Clogged up blade housing doesn’t mulch or cut as clean either.
Just traded my 2012 Tundra for a 2018 Tundra sr5 trd4×4 5.7L,love it both are at the low miles of fifty eight thousand to sixty one thousand I've only owned the 2012 for the 72 months,and wanted to update in years,originally I was looking at the 2021,but it wasn't a four wheel drive,but anyways Tundra all the way lol.

Ive been buying these since 2017, usually go thru a pair every year. I get them because they are comfortable. The bottoms always fall off leaving just the air bag part.

This junk box broke after 4 cuts, self propelled went out. It never reacted the way it was supposed to. Let it pause before pulling back freely? Didn't work and now self propelled is out completely. My last Toro was great for at least 6 years till a storm flooded it out

In 4 months the first thing to happen self propelled went completely out! And now it's no longer cranking!

I just bought mine today and noticed the door spring on the right side was jacked up! Called DeWalt they pretend like they've never heard of this problem and I look on video and you have the same issue, man companies piss me off, all of them lie!
Hello! Don’t fret just yet- call Dewalt to get the names of authorized Dewalt repair centers in your area- the one listed online was 300 miles away-so definitely call to get one closer to you. So they ended up having to drill a hole and insert a cotter pin after it came apart again, after they replaced it with a brand new cover! They also ended up replacing a rear wheel bearing, remarking it was incorrectly installed by the factory! Read the Home Depot reviews- similar issues…😢 Good luck to You

Yeah I did, and it was good experience that paid well. It was only a temporary thing, about 2 months if that. It’s your duty as a U.S citizen however to participate in the census every 10 years.
I couldnt decide if i should get a pair a week ago because considering how old they are i dont know why the price is still high, i went back to the Nike outlet a week later and found the last pair of triple blacks in 7.5 i think it was meant to be so i pulled the trigger on them! will be using these for just walking... i think they work fine in jeans also.
