The Celestron PowerTank can also be used to Charge your two usb devices, like cellphones, tablets, Dew heaters, etc.
This is an unboxing not a review
I tried them both at Sail, and they both seemed the same, so must be something wrong. But the larger front lens will give a brighter image. I’m thinking of getting the 10x36 with reticle. It’s cool that you can range things with it, but I don’t really want a reticle. It’s just the housing is much heavier duty, and has a way nicer eyecup
Thanks for video.
I have the 8 x 36. Good quality. Some chromatic aberration, not the greatest FOV, close focus is so-so, no lens caps. But I like it. Replace nearly all the time my B&L 8x42 binoculars. Coupled with my small Pentax Papilio (extraordinary close focus!), perfect for what I do.
Have you tried the 10x36 ret version? I’m not wild about the fact there is a reticle, though it is cool to be able to range objects, but the housing is way better and they eye cup too, but I don’t know if it’s worth the extra cost
No demo on a disabled vehicle.
Thank you😺
What I’d really like to know is where does the telescope plug in🤔🤔
How do you charge the internal battery?
There is a plug on the back of the case you fold out the prongs and attach a extension cord and plug on the wall. If you let the battery go to 0 then you have to replace it. It's just the battery type. You have to recharge it so often keep it topped up
It’s the jumpstart switch on yours momentary contact. It doesn’t stay on. You would have to hold it on but it starts the process? I look forward to your response Don on Long Island.
Can't tell the difference through the cell phibe camera but I definitely believe you. Thanks so much bro
I just bought one this morning on Facebook marketplace and it’s reads 100 even though it’s completely dead I’ve I had it plugged in to charge over 8 hours it says 100 then I unplug it and it’s actually 100% dead
Same here.. I had one in my closet for a year or so n went to charge it today n the same thing that happened to u is happening
They sold you a fucked up one. Scammed.

wanna try our Range Master Ultra HD?
I do
Ryobi one+ 18v 120-Watt Push Start Power Source with 12-Volt Outlet RYi12VBG $50 Red USB LED Mini Light $2.09 Variable Ah power and battery R&R is a snap. Buy 2Ah to 16Ah pop in pop out fully charged fully replicable 18v batteries. In my opinion with this is a winner
I see a lot of chromatic aberration on both of those. Cheap plastic chinese optics. Crap.
whats better for the price?
Are all versions made in china? I was looking into the 10x36 RT version.
I have a vortex 8x 25 for 6 years. and I'm not satisfied, you're right, the picture is not sharp enough. up to 200m is ok.
No he's not. It's a very clear thank you.
You might try cleaning the 8x
Also 10x25 more than enough light. I use on heavily clouded days all the time.
@@kishascape I guess it depends on your eyesight. Some people may have worse eyesight and require a brighter image.
I bought mines 5yrs ago . It WAS great at first . It wont charge anymore😮. Any ideas anyone
There's a battery inside, it's probably dried out
Thank you for a good video review of Vortex monoculars.
You have to unplug it to use the other functions thank you😊
Just wish the genius’s at celestron made it so the power cable can fit in the tiny compartment
I wanted to see you plug it in for the first time to get started with it. And then actually jump a car with it. And also pump up a flat tire with it. Otherwise it’s not really a fully useful review.
how do you recharge it after it has sat for awhile. i plugged it in on the back and it read 100 ?
Wow I've had mine for at least 10 years and it's still going strong, the compressor hose rotted so I've been searching for a new one but can't find a part number. I may have to modify my own. But overall everything else works great!
can you connect a laptop to the usb ?
I don’t see why now.
It won't run a blender
Will this jump start a bus
What happens if you jumpstart while it's plugged in and charging?
What's the max voltage and max psi on this product?
400 watts and 100 psi.
aaare you kidding? what a waste of time!
Exactly what is needed to connect to power the telescope/mount and where are those connection points??
Your mount probably came with a power line that ends in what looks like a cigarette lighter, just plug that in to one of the 12-volt output holes.
@@robertsipes7391 THANK YOU. All these dang reviews/unboxing. And NO-ONE says what you need to plug into the telescope.
Will it run a small shop vac?
should you keep the battery at 100% all the time?
Charge it once a month or after every use.
This is not a review. It's an unboxing. 7 minutes I can't get back.
Can it connected laptop for charging?
Can you give me some video for maintenance of battery.
So do you turn it off before you put it in the battery
Leave switch off then place the charge cables on car battery. Keep clear of charge from battery before turing it on. Turn switch on then start car for 5 minutes. Turn off switch and restow charge pack safely. Leave car running and drive for at least 20 minutes.
Great video and just what I was looking for. Considering this myself.
Thank you for your video!
Do you know the dimensions of the spare rubber wheel please ? thanks
It says to leave it for 36 hours charge but on the display it says 100% charged already we just got ours so I was just wondering
? Did you find out your answer to your question because I just got one and I’m wondering the same thing
@@africathegreat4014 Once it is 100% charged it is fine to unplug.
Once it's says 100 then unplug it
I swear by this.Have had mine for 4 years now.Just remember to charge it after each use or monthly if you haven't used it.I never leave home without it.
How do you charge
Mine doesn't work at all only the charging light turns on when being charged. But nothing turns on other then that. Please help
It might be dead as it requires an initial charge of at least 14 hours, I think. It also can't be used to power anything while it's being charged unfortunately if that's what you're hoping for.
I have the same issue. Bit haven’t left it charging for 14 hours straight tbh. The red “charge” indicator light starts solid and quite quickly starts flashing. It was my fathers and he’s not here anymore and neither are the instructions. Will find them online and get this monster up and running.
@@vinylfascist Lmao,I still have mine but gave up.I have to buy a battery for it.And it cost almost the same as the whole thing itself
@@th3challenger895 well you know what it’s been charging via a 12volt battery for 16 hours. Solid charge light. Looking positive. Nothing. Completely f@£!ed it. Game over for this one.
@@vinylfascist Man,that's cool.But I lost the damn charger.But if I find it I'll do the same thing you did.Thx
How long does it last in the field? Can it run a mount (HEQ5) and a dew belt for at least a few hours?
Hi, yes. It can run the mount alone for probably 7hr. If you add dew heater. It will shorten that time. Depending on the power draw.
Great info👍 thank you. It was very helpful.
