I'm sad that I was unable to hear any of Jocelyn's obviously pithy remarks; made to all and sundry it seems...all I have is a distant memory of a compliment made to my mother during a birthday lunch for Jocelyn many, many years ago, with Lucy and Dodi (whom I last saw while Edward was ambassador in Qatar and I must have been.....12?) when she remarked on how animated I was in conversation with one of the guests. She and I had never really spoken once I had grown. She was my God mother but I saw her very infrequently and never really spoke with her. I would have loved to have been able to shoot the breeze but, sadly t'was not meant to be. Love goes to Lucy and her three beautiful daughters. Goodbye Jocelyn. Take care of that celestial library....perhaps she'll be able to read all those books that were lost forever in Alexandria all that time ago. Adios Jocelyn. Timothy Weeks. See you up there.
