I like cruising on our towpath along the canal and he is the adrenaline junkie riding the hills nearby. I love your energy and your decor!

Then I saw the brown county cookbook and think it’s actually possible at least one of those may have been painted by her as she was a very prolific painter in that general area of the country (not well known but highly productive).

Absolutely beautiful apartment. The music choice was PERFECT. This video reminds me of my favorite kind of old movie. Set in the 30’s, and features a young woman who lived humbly in a small apartment. Those kinds of movies always have a cozy contented feeling that I think is wonderful. ❤

absolutely in love. i feel like i've just time traveled back to my childhood with this brief little tour. as a kid i was bounced from one grandma to the next. even stayed with a few great grandmas, grandma's from friends, elderly cousins and aunts or uncles etc. even our landlords from when i was really REALLY young were like grandparents...and i learned whether or not i'd be comfortable ina place based on the décor. if i wasn't comfortable then i would find a room and stay in it and draw pictures until my mom came and got me. most of those places didn't have television. but if they had knickknacks and art i was happy. if they had a cat or dog and a backyard i was in 7th heaven lol as an adult i rarely get to see things like this outside of my own place. my mother in law treats her home like a museum. very clean and minimalistic. lots of white and tile. kinda boring. thrift stores and antique shops are always a treat. even Goodwill is a decent place to find these things. but they make me feel sad. i know these things were someones treasures and they were cast aside when they passed away.

This is literal perfection. What a beautiful home!
