Did you hear about hydrogen bombs? They work on fusion. And most of modern Nukes use fusion as you need less uranium plutonium. You just use it to compress hydrogen for fusion reaction. But yes even our fusion bomb would do nothing.

I was watching another creator last night. He was saying that nukes "nukes would only be used for A, B or C" then listed off a few battle uses. In my opinion, once one nuke is used, for whatever reason, that'll be IT.

Where it's true that today's nuclear weapons are vastly more powerful than the crude bombs dropped on Japan in 1945, the modern weapons are also a helluva lot cleaner(discounting "salted" nukes and cobalt weapons)and are more likely going to be air-bursts, which have a high blast damage but very little residual radiation. It is only ground burst weapons that produce massive amounts of fallout, because of all the dust and debris sucked up by the mushroom cloud. So, surviving the aftermath is not only possible, it's also highly likely, assuming you live through the initial blast and aren't near a potential target, like a Government or military facility. But, of course, it doesn't remove the obvious question-would you want to? No power-grid, probably not in your lifetime anyway. No coherent Government or Rule of Law. Diminishing foodstocks and an every man for himself situation, Darwin at his finest. Surviving the actual nuclear attack...that's the EASY bit...🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I 🐒 have a 10 to 15 kg bag of rice. So assuming i did not die from the bang or radiation i can probably feed myself for 3 months or more. Should probably put some water into plastic bottles assuming i did not want to die of thirst. The wife would probably say "I'm hungry husband so I've got to eat all the rice." Then we would probably die unless the other people gave us food. Other people might tell us to get away from them in those circumstances. Assuming many survived longer than us. Not a farmer and food normally does not make itself for me to eat so i would likely die pretty quickly. Would not particulary want to become one of the chud people eating canibals. Figure that other people would be better at that than myself, but i ain't never been in that sort of situation. Have a good day.
