The melody is quite good albeit not sure whether it is really "eastern". I do not know if you want my advice but for me the whole song is too heavy for the mind, because we are listening to the same phrase and sound patch the whole time (four minutes). I would include resting passages on this track, which you can fill with percussion alone or soft sounds such as pads.
@sakhal-music-studio Hi, I appreciate advice if that's going to improve the next piece. The main riff is based on Balkan music. The solo element in the middle has some Gypsy and Greek feel. I felt at some point it was getting too eastern sounding so I took the main riff(the one that's repeating almost all the time) and put it in a different context with something that unintentionally started to sound like famous song from 1990. I only noticed it after I was finished with it. I am quite aware of the repetitive nature of the main riff. I tried to break out of it in three short moments but I felt I wanted to go right back to it. Maybe I should do some resting passages. Thanks for advise ☺️ 🙂 👍
The problem of this track is that on the first 30 seconds you have already heard all of it...
@sakhalianet-digital-music That's absolutely correct. Hopefully soon I'll be in better health and be putting out stuff that isn't just one motive. It's really one chord progression with one melody going along with the high notes and one melody going along with the lower notes. Kinda giving direction to otherwise dark dissonance in the background. Yet, the way I see it it could be a backing track for someone to solo over it. Maybe it will be me but knowing myself I probably will jump on finishing other projects🙂

I am sure things got improved with time production wise. Mixing is a skill and it just doesn't happen immediately.

What is this shite like? It's surely far from being actual Scottish dance. But it's kinda giving you the feeling it's at least related. I can try to just rearrange existing things but than it would be rather a cover.
